Thanks for bringing us along, Drew! I live about 2 hours away from the nearest IKEA. So getting to see new items without driving for 2 hours is so helpful! Now my friends and I are planning a trip there next weekend because of this video!! 🫶 💙 😊
I own a Tonstad tv stand and i love it! It adds so much texture without being too busy, and i think it’s something i genuinely want to own for a very long time!
I really enjoy your channel and you were actually my very first subscription on YTB. You ALWAYS cheer me up with your positive and infectious personality! I am happy to see all your achievements and also design choices. Thanks Drew!
I appreciate that you're still critical of things you think still need work. IKEA isn't my very first go-to, but I'll give it more serious consideration. Thanks so much!
It's so interesting to see how IKEA does their autumn displays, especially as someone who is currently in spring (I live in Australia), our displays look so different at the moment! :)
I think Ikea prints are made for european customer. In northern Europe it gets very gray since october all the way to march/april, Because of that we tend to use very muted, kind of "dirty" colour tones in our homes, since it looks the most natural in the sad reminescents of sunlight that we get during this period. It was always advised here to go bold with textiles, and that is what Ikea do. Their prints are hit or miss, but this dark autumn one as well as all orange version and similar light one are actually highly popular in here! Very scandinavian, but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea
I agree it would be nice to see more of this new medium wood tone, the lack of that color is the main reason I haven’t bought more IKEA furniture in the past.
I am definitely on the lookout for a bar cabinet and love the rattan one. It may fit perfectly into the studio apt I am currently converting into a Jr. 1 bedroom in Chicago. I will go check it out. I also like the warmth of the brown/gold paint color being used. I may paint a corner of the living room this color, where I am making a banguette seating for a little dining table for 4 people. Fall is such a cozy time to bring warmth into your home. But don’t forget the scents to kick that up a notch. No real mention of candle scents here, which is unfortunate. Gotta create the entire experience when designing a space.
I just want to say to you thank you from my heart. I know this is silly but I've been so depressed lately and I put your new video on and it made me so happy and comfy to see your bubbly happy adorable face. Also I love Ikea. Anyway it made my stupid morning go from drab to fab. I love it and your contagious happiness. So I thank you from my heart 💜❤️🎉😊😊
Excellent tour....thank you. My nearest Ikea is 5 hours away. To top it off,not everything can be purchased online. Being able to have someone give good descriptions is so helpful. IDEA for future video: focus only on items that can be purchased online for delivery.
I bought 4 of the matching side tables to that coffee table you showed (for $79) and said that you would probably do two of them, it’s called the Holmerud. I got the lighter Oak color. The end tables are only $59 and 12 inches deep, I put one down the side of the couch as an end table and extended it 12 inches behind the couch, then I put the other three down the back of the couch butting them up against the end table , and it looks like an expensive L shaped sofa table that wraps the couch corner. So good for just over $200! I love when you do the Ikea shop with. me.
hey that's my local Ikea! I live in Burbank, lol. I feel like a lot of their stuff is too expensive now, like their baskets for example. or the particle board stuff... $30-40 for a basket and $350 -500 for a particle board coffee table isnt exactly a good deal imo. but they do have some much nicer looking things than before.
Thank you for this!!!! I live 2 hours away from IKEA, but the good thing is that I can order and have things shipped for free to a nearby Dollar General. There were a couple things here that I might get.
I already have the skinny glass door light oak version of the Tonstad line and I love it! I'm happy to know you approve 😆I have all my books and CDs in it and I just love looking at it.
Thanks for the Fall Ikea video where you gave us great ideas that we can afford! I love the door mats you featured. I went on the website to order and they are not available. Perhaps they are too new. I will keep trying. The Fall pillow collections are fabulous. Looking forward to what you are up to in Thursday video!
I am telling you I have just recently bought all new garbage cans that are the sensor ones and you get so used to them so quickly it’s crazy but you do have to be careful because when you go out into public you will walk up to a garbage can and stand there and wait for it to open up and look like a complete ass.😂
It is a whole day experience. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can sprawl and lie down in. Break for lunch and strategize the second half of the day. Decision fatigue will get you at some point. My closest IKEA is 18 minutes away; the farthest is an hour and 24 minutes. There are 3 others in between. I’ve been a fair few times. 😊
The tonstad line is so good! I believe they are also going to release a Tonstad bed frame - which is already released in the EU. They also just released a very affordable slipcover bed frame called the Tarnkullen that is shockingly beautiful for the price!
Thank you for the tour. Very worthwhile. IKEA manufactures a lot of good looking design pieces. I hope you took home some things and will show your audience how to make them more personalized. There is nothing like going into someone’s home and thinking it looks like the store,-itself. Hmm,- maybe I could go shopping here. Haha Carol from California
IKEA take inspiration for some of their floral prints from Swedish design house 'Svenskt Tenn' and especially prints by designer Josef Frank. Svenskt Tenn prints and furniture are very popular in Sweden (but expensive).
Thanks for the tour! It would be nice to see inside the dressers, as IKEA redid all their dressers to comply with new fed regulations and now the drawers lock and don’t open all the way. Loooooots of complaints about the impact on functionality online.
As a very curious “stickybeak” I was wondering if LF has any plans to make over the paved back garden where so much painting and carpentry happened at the start of his home refurbishing journey? 😊ps, IKEA product is so different in Australia.
I used to get a new Ikea duvet every year like 15 years ago because they would come out with a new cute one. The prints have been blah for a long time now.
I like that you call out the specific details that you think make a piece look elevated. Rounded corners. Handles. A trimmed edge.
Hands down you are the best IKEA tour guide on RUclips!!! Thanks!
The gentle camera movement and the tone of your voice are *perfection* (to say nothing of the soothing music). Thank you!
Facts!!!
"IKEA, you have got to work on your prints. I'm so sorry. They are always never good, like never" -- 🤣 🤣🤣
It’s blunt, but so accurate 😂
🤭🤭🤭
I'm so glad he said it. It needed to be said.
Yeah because in my opinion that mushroom wallpaper was hideous lmao
I feel the same with Pottery Barn, they have lovely solid fabric for drapes and furniture but their prints are so ugly.
You are the best spokesperson for IKEA! You reveal the good, the bad, and the ugly!
Thanks for bringing us along, Drew! I live about 2 hours away from the nearest IKEA. So getting to see new items without driving for 2 hours is so helpful! Now my friends and I are planning a trip there next weekend because of this video!!
🫶 💙 😊
Same here. Two hours!
That is not to far for good shopping 😊
Funnily I am also 2 hrs away from IKEA😂
Thank you Drew for sharing, great finds indeed. The new sofa selections were surprising
Thanks for narrating this shopping trip and giving us your tips and ideas! I liked the sofas with the bench cushion.
You called out lots of bits I liked, including some of the newer baskets, glassware and the farmhouse style kitchen.
I love the wicker sets. Thank you for taking us along.

I recently bought the curtains you thought they were ugly. The black with the flower prints. They reminded me a bit of William Morris design.
It's so interesting to see how IKEA does their autumn displays, especially as someone who is currently in spring (I live in Australia), our displays look so different at the moment! :)
the basket with the black trim would make a great lampshade diy I bet!
I think you are right
Loved your IKEA tour! Thank you for your enthusiasm and for covering so many items in a short time.

Thanks Drew, fun to see the Halloween stuff, here in West Australia IKEA don’t get much of that as it’s not big here, plus it’s also springtime.
Drew, you're sooo sweet! And I want that fabulous desk chair!
Thanks for the window shop Drew, I haven't visited Ikea for years but love all the rattan pieces.
I agree it would be nice to see more of this new medium wood tone, the lack of that color is the main reason I haven’t bought more IKEA furniture in the past.

Thanks, Drew. It's good to see what's new at IKEA.
We loooove our Hyltarp. Seriously underrated! Also loving this mid-tone wood, really stunning. I see you IKEA! 🙌🏼💛

Great tour.😊❤
Thank you, dear talented Drew. Lovely trip to ikea. Agree with you about ikea prints.
I like the full length mirror with lights on either side. I might steal that one.
The glass and light wood collection is giving 90's early 2000s basement vibes eek!
Excellent tour....thank you. My nearest Ikea is 5 hours away. To top it off,not everything can be purchased online. Being able to have someone give good descriptions is so helpful. IDEA for future video: focus only on items that can be purchased online for delivery.
You are SO good at this!
Watch with your friends and take a shot of your favorite beverage every time Drew says "as well"🥰
I agree about those print, but also the green bedding set was cute!
You gave me a couple of ideas for my fall mantle. I loved the glass pumpkins.
Lovely! The rattan desk set is very cool especially. nicely done! Thanks, Drew ~ 🙏💃🏻💞
First visit here, love your ideas and I may get the round two shelf metal tables. I can use both the red and the black.
The shop door display in the beginning ❤

I'm moving to a new, smaller space. Your tour and suggestions are right up my alley! Thank you ❤

I was happy to see the gold painted walls. I'm planning on painting my bathroom that color 😊
Thank you for this!!!! I live 2 hours away from IKEA, but the good thing is that I can order and have things shipped for free to a nearby Dollar General. There were a couple things here that I might get.
Pet safe decor styling would be so helpful!
Just hang it higher. Or what do you have ? Squirrels ?
Awesome tour. I planned on going to IKEA this week anyway. Now im sooooo excited to see what’s set up.
As a print designer I totally agree!! 😂
I already have the skinny glass door light oak version of the Tonstad line and I love it! I'm happy to know you approve 😆I have all my books and CDs in it and I just love looking at it.
It is beyond stunning! I want one for my own home

Ahh really! That def could be it. I almost feel they are an early Christmas item 😞

My closest IKEA is 3 1/2 hours away. Definitely need more stores in cities across the country.
I’ve never been in an ikea. One day. There’s never been one where I live. That cream sofa was amazing.

Once again you’ve outdone yourself!!! Simply lovely.
Lots of great pieces, I need a new coffee table I like your idea of two together. Thanks Drew 😊❤
Definitely going to check out the wicker desk chair!
YES to the prints comment! It's like a kids second grade art class had a contest and those colorways are the non-winners :)
I loved the Rattan desk chair. I may have to run and buy it!
Loved those woven corners! Added a lot 😍

Love this video. I have no time or energy to go to ikea right now so. Thanks
I love wicker and rattan but they are dust and dog hair magnets
I cant have that too because my cat always thinks these are scratch mats or cat trees.
Loved the Ikea tour Drew, i like to see whats new. Thanks for sharing
As a graphic/print designer, I couldn’t agree with you more Drew!
The Viskafors sofa also comes in leather
Love the last mirror shown!
Definitely getting those little orange-footed plates!
I love doing these types of signature Smokey eye look!!
Really enjoyed ‘shopping’ with you 😍 Would love that you do such videos more often 🥰
Very good decorated in your error :god bless you
U could bring that shirt to a desert island, to play boardgame, to have a lovely flag, etc. Lovin' it
Hi lone love your vlogs thx for always sharing be blessed
The light blue storage ottoman will be perfect in my new baby'a nursery 💙
I LOOOVE that last mirror!
Thank you Drew! I saw a LOT of things that appealed to me! :)
Thanks Drew! You always have such great ideas!!. ❤❤
For us older folk that medium tone veneer reads cheap veneer. Well, for me at least.
I like IKEA but the wood veneer is pressed plywood and I feel it’s cheap. Us older folk are used to solid wood pieces. Lol
I agree… and im a young 27 y/o 😂
I agree totally
Right!? I winced every time particle board with laminate or cheap veneer, was referred to as 'wood'.
I love going to IKEA, they always come up with great pieces to add to my home.
I hope you get inspired to make some spooky diys and decor this year!! Love all the videos!! 🖤🎃🧡
You missed something :) in the pax system, check the new glass doors they have. It is the same veneer you liked but with fluted glass. So beautiful
IKEA take inspiration for some of their floral prints from Swedish design house 'Svenskt Tenn' and especially prints by designer Josef Frank. Svenskt Tenn prints and furniture are very popular in Sweden (but expensive).
Loved all the baskets.
Great video!❤❤❤❤
thank you for this service.
Thanks for the tour! It would be nice to see inside the dressers, as IKEA redid all their dressers to comply with new fed regulations and now the drawers lock and don’t open all the way. Loooooots of complaints about the impact on functionality online.
Really like the rattan woven addition to console. I agree with you on the prints! Idk, too bold? Will Winston dress up for Halloween ?
Thank you for the video! I agree about the prints.
Ikea hasn't ever had a really nice print. I'm glad somebody said it! I could whole store shop then.
As a very curious “stickybeak” I was wondering if LF has any plans to make over the paved back garden where so much painting and carpentry happened at the start of his home refurbishing journey? 😊ps, IKEA product is so different in Australia.
IKEA is Swedish & those items like the wool rug with tassles give that vibe.
The mushrooms are adorable!!!
I love the dining tables and many of the shelves! 🩵
Headed to Portland, Or Ikea(1 of the few stores remaining in Portland) this was perfect video
The woven furniture was very interesting! 😊
Hiya, does your colour palette change much over autumn. Are you making your own wreath? I’m going for shop bought as i’ve never done autumn decor 😮😂
I don't even have ahome yet and I am obsessed with your channel and interior design :)
YES GURL I LOVE THESE VIDS
I love shopping at IKEA in this video before I physically go shopping at IKEA!
I really like the dressers. I might have to check them out.
They are really nice! Def my faves I’ve seen from Ikea
I used to get a new Ikea duvet every year like 15 years ago because they would come out with a new cute one. The prints have been blah for a long time now.
The small sleeper sofas are perfect for college apartments.
Another great video, Drew! Thank you! ❤
