Thanks for shooting this! Honestly they’ve never sounded as tight as they do on this tour. Yes, I know there’s click tracks and auto tuning, but they seem so genuinely psyched to be playing together again.
Click tracks are a good tool, I think it’s mainly Travis who has a click going and then I imagine for Tom and Mark they have it for parts where there isn’t a count in and they have to keep in time and I’m not sure if they’re using any pitch correction on this actual tour, cuz on occasion Tom and Mark have hit some flat notes and surely with pitch correction they wouldn’t be doing thatn
@@jerryuma Its a metronome or click sound that plays in ears for musicians to help them stay in tempo. Many musicians use it so their songs are more steady. Good question

I agree here. I don't think he sounds like he's not trying, because he definitely sounds like he is unlike last time. But some nights he sounds more strained than others. He was fantastic in Cleveland although towards the end his voice started sounding a little tired. To be fair, the same thing happens to Mark, and it actually happened to Matt the most.
só imagino esse show em SP e em Buenos Aires.. a galera vai quebrar tudo.. os sk8rs southamericans aguardam a roda punk ao som de #therockshow e #manoverboard há pelo menos 23 anos!!!
A couple reasons: 1. Blink has songs in different tunings/setups, which is much easier and seamless to just have another guitar designated to handle that song in that tuning, instead of tuning on stage (which no larger artist ever does, that'd be super distracting and take forever). It's also more stable, changing tunings constantly on the same guitar affects its stability to hold tuning. Feeling This is in drop D with a capo on the 2nd fret, Edging, Cynical, Not Now, and Bored to Death are done in lower keys than originally recorded, so they're played in D Standard. Adam's Song is in C# standard (live, original is D standard), I Miss You is capo'd 2nd fret for Tom, etc. 2. Swapping out guitars to not overplay them as to deaden the strings or fall out of tune over time. There's a certain special life to brand new strings that goes away in a few hours of playing, and swapping guitars every few songs, even if it's the same tuning just helps to always have a perfectly in tune and ready to go guitar at all times, they can hand off their old guitar that'll get tuned back up and ready to go. 3. Purely just feel and vibe! Even of the same model, every guitar feels and can sound a bit different, so just whatever they feel cool with the song.
Great response. There is also basic love of a specific instrument. I recorded this song with that bass - and that's the bass I'm gonna perform the song with....
What the others said is on point! Also notice how they dont have pedal boards on the stage itself some artists will do this. The same person that manages the dozen plus guitars that a touring pro might have is also triggering any needed effects, allowing them to run around.
@@pantsnjacket381 To be fair, even Tom's humor is not as blunt and offensive as it was in the 90s and 2000s. But I can't blame them. I'm very liberal myself, but cancel culture babies will be after them in a heartbeat if they say anything that can be remotely interpreted as offensive.
Wha?? Tom had tons of energy in Cleveland! He's 47, we can't expect him to be bouncing off the walls every single second of every night. To be fair, the Cleveland crowd wasn't as excited as the New York crowd and the band pointed it out.
He moves around about as well as you can expect a 47 year old man with degenerative back issues to move. One false jump and ya'll might be back to Skiba.
@@davet2459 Hahah yes, and not fun, Alkaline Trio Skiba either. In blink you get Statue Skiba. Although I can't say I blame him. That was an awkward situation for him, and I personally did not expect him to fill Tom's shoes
@Jess Barrett Not my favorite album, I only listen to "Ghost Of The Dancefloor", "Heart's All Gone", "Kaleidoscope", "Wishing Well". That's why I don't remember this song
For what ever insane reason, the floor has seats, so no dancing, or circle pits, or fun, and the tickets are crazy expensive, so you get a certain tax bracket in this audience, and they're usually the type to get annoyed if you rub shoulders with them, ultimately why I was okay with not making this tour, hopefully they play Riot fest or something sometime
😂😂we get it. Ur mad u sat home on youtube watching us have the time of our lives..trust me I would be uktra salty too lmaoo but i aint..i was there and ultra stoked.

Is Tom a bit drunk or something? He's always talking over Mark and stuff
No that’s just how the banter has always been😂

Mark trying to hard to keep from getting cancelled because of Tom
Hahaha he's playing it safe with the jokes, Tom doesn't give af. At the end of the day it's immature humor, we all have gone through it before.
Typical lib 😮
@@pantsnjacket381 To be fair, even Tom's humor is not as blunt and offensive as it was in the 90s and 2000s. But I can't blame them. I'm very liberal myself, but cancel culture babies will be after them in a heartbeat if they say anything that can be remotely interpreted as offensive.
@@johnpatrick9552 Blink is not a conservative band, never has been, and never will be.
@Don Beck What is a conservative band?
1.22.20 didn't know Tom's favorite band was Rage haha
mark said that.
Did Anyone See KennyHoopla Open Up In Msg?
Tom definitely didn't have this kind of energy at the Cleveland show. I'm glad I left before the encore.
No traffic jam = good night
Spent all that money and left before the encore hahaha
"You can leave now and beat the traffic...or you can stick around and beat your meat..."

Damn that crowd sucked
For what ever insane reason, the floor has seats, so no dancing, or circle pits, or fun, and the tickets are crazy expensive, so you get a certain tax bracket in this audience, and they're usually the type to get annoyed if you rub shoulders with them, ultimately why I was okay with not making this tour, hopefully they play Riot fest or something sometime

All songs sound similar. Courtney not in the band?
tbh tom did have to show what a massive dick move mistake and fail it was to have matt in there singing his songs
can you reword that sentence to make sense plz
First of all decisions are made by the whole band not just Tom second of all why would they have Matt come out for 2 songs every show 🤦
A little bit of punctuation would help a lot
You're completely delusional
Now they are singing not so good as when they were younger. So it's a very sad truth. I'm a little bit disappointed 😞
