I have been studying your videos and your methods, and I have learned a lot as a Warlock, to give you an idea, my Parse% increased from 80-85% to 96-98%, continue with your videos!
Hey, great run! New to lock and having a good time in both destro and demo. Was looking through your videos to see if you've done a guide/rundown of demo, but didn't see one. Do you have one that I missed or is there one of your videos where you talk about some of the keys to demo DPS/synergies of abilities and talents that are important to keep in mind when trying to maximize dps pack-to-pack or on single encounters?
The reason you guys take a lot of damage on the phase of the last boss is because of a weird effect self damaging abilities scale in that phase. belerelos/vakosh/corrupting rage/health pot/etc all tick a lot harder. belerelos alone can almost 2 shot a nonwarlock class cause of how heavy the dot is, so be careful and pop a defensive if you do happen to go into that phase with something like that ticking on you. it's an easy phase though so one person dying isn't the end of the world. Ggs on the run though was super clean!
Thank you! Demo generally has higher overall damage than Destro in every key except Everbloom. Destro can do okay in Atal if the pulls are done well (and it's easier to deal with jug baits) and then in ToT if you need the dispel on third boss. Destro was the go-to in MDI because they were much lower key levels with pulls that were 5x larger than anything you see in a normal key. Destro has much higher uncapped AOE than Demo does but EB is the only dungeon that takes advantage of that damage profile.
Great run, how did you increase your dps instantly in the first pull? Is nymue trinket really that broken. I have it too but my dps doesnt spike like yours in the first pull
Thank you! Damage in that first pull comes from Aug, pulling the whole hallway, and making sure it's group quickly (out of your hands). Nymue does make a big difference, but any 2 minute stat trinket should offer a similar gain. Mastery is very good for Demo in AOE, though, and since we don't stack it by default, Nymue gives us a large increase in output.
It's also worth noting that Enhance is target capped. If you play with a class that can do big burst AOE to big pulls (like DH) then you won't do as much damage. Demo AOE on the first pull of dungeons has some ramp time since we don't have imps out. So if your key level is too low or the other DPS do big dam, it can be hard to keep up.

What ELVUI profile do you use? (if its not your own. I don't see ELVUI mentioned in the bio with the other ui info!) i really like it
Thanks! I don't use Elvui. I use Shadowed Unit Frames and Grid2 for my personal and party frames. Bartender4 for hotbar management.
