Just an FYI, around the 25 minute mark there's a sizeable time jump and the narration may feel like you're missing some information. I cut out around a minute and a half of the finished and uploaded video because several of you caught that the guy walking in front of my in Frontierland had an inappropriate shirt on that somehow got by Disney. It was front and center and mostly noticeable, so I removed it.
I love how overcast days are seen as "bad" (i.e. May Gray, June Gloom, etc.). I love them! I don't like the sun beating down on me when I'm out for that long.
The exact same! 😆 we openly root for the June Gloom to last as long as possible on the day of our yearly trip. So much less fatiguing when it’s cloudy & cool 😊

Your presentation, delivery, and attentiveness to your viewers are on point. Your family is beautiful and always smiling. I really appreciate the effort and natural presentation you put into your videos. ❤
Walt’s Main Street Story Tour I would say is worth it. You get to go inside Walt’s apartment above the fire house. Includes some fancy lunch and some souvenir magnet of Walt Disney.
Can't express how much I love you're walking tours. It's like I'm there. I was the tour question. And you answered it perfectly. I also want to do the Wild Africa Animal trek tour at Animal Kingdom. Looks so awesome.

Traver I just got back home from Disneyland this weekend. I want to thank you for your suggestion of waiting till 9 am to ride rise of the resistance it was posted at 45 minutes and it only took 30 minutes to get to the ride vehicle.
We've watched a lot of your video's since we started planning our California vacation. I love just playing one of your video's (especially the really long ones) when working at home and I learn something new every time. If you need some inspiration for new video's, I would love to know the best photo-spots and if Photopass is worth buying (we probably aren't doing genie+), where are the best places to view the parade/shows and what are the best spots for a sit down with your own (brought with you) lunch? Greetings from The Netherlands
I agree about doing, 1 park 1 day instead of hopping especially with kids...i feel like you waste more time trying to hop...plus its cheaper just doing 1 park 1day
Thank you for showing the locker area Traver. I could not ride Incredicoaster because I had a filled backpack and my large handbag. Nobody has ever shown the lockers. It would have enabled me to ride all the roller-coaster rides had I been aware of the lockers for rent. Your videos are truly the best, filled with tons of information. THANK YOU for giving us the exact date of your video. 😂😂😂
FYI with genie+ and child swap, when you get to the entrance of the ride you ask for the swap, all LL will be scaned and the Cast Member will ask for up to 3 of your tickets for the child swap, one adult stays behind AND gets the new LL, the rest ride, and when they finish the ride two of them get a repeat ride with an LL already waiting for them, great for my kids, they loved rising everything twice.
I was visiting Disneyland for the first time (from CT) with my husband while you were also there. Wish I ran into you! All of your knowledge really helped us have such an amazing few days visit
Another helpful video! We are getting excited about visiting this summer. I would love to see a video about the best places to watch the parades (daytime and electric) and a walk through of the parade route. Enjoy your holiday!
Re: 30 minute re-scan - you can re-scan back in before the 30 minute minimum if you rent a scooter from Disneyland. It's on the right hand side, after the security checkpoint near the buses. You'll check back in on the far right too.
The DoubleTree up in Buena Park by Knott's Berry Farm has free parking and free direct shuttle to and from Disney. Its only 5 miles away and has prices usually much lower than the ones closer to DL. 👍 Keep up the amazing videos, you've been helping us out immensely plan for our Disneyland trip in 4 weeks from TX!
The reason they cant just easily reopen the peoplemover is that the rocket rods caused actual damage to the ride, that has since been allowed to decay further left exposed to the elements for years. They'd basically have to tear out the whole track and re-do it and considering the people mover track runs through basically all of tomrrowland and through a lot of other rides show buildings, it would be really costly and mean a lot of tomrrowland would have to be shutdown for a pretty long time.
The track has to be completely removed anyway, as it’s not configured for PeopleMover. It’s just a matter of slowly replacing everything. It need not happen at once. But it likely all comes down to money and a bit of space, considering they’d need to completely reconfigure the loading area as well.
I am super excited about the WDW videos! Kids just went back to school and I’m catching up on your videos. Disappointed I missed asking a question…oh well, next time. Really enjoy these Q&A videos.
There’ll be another one we are filming this Saturday. I’ll have a community post out tomorrow asking for ?s, but you can ask one here and I’ll add it immediately so it doesn’t get missed. The primary focus of the video will be DCA, as it’ll be a DCA walkthrough. But if you have a general question that’s not necessarily Disneyland park specific that would be acceptable as well.
@@SoCalDisneyDad looking forward to your DCA walk thru. I just had a couple of questions. Next year when we come to Disney my son wants to make a droid, which we think is a fabulous experience and a uniquely Disneyland souvenir to take home. My question is, what other experiences/activities do they have for kids(or big kids😁)? My 7 year old daughter does not want to make a droid or lightsaber. We would like to get unique, can only get in the parks souvenir’s as we do have Disney stores in Australia and can get some of the gift shop things here. Someone once mentioned in the comments that they got a family caricature done near Pirates of the Caribbean and it is a cherished souvenir. We would love something like that to take home. Sorry, that was a lot! Thanks
Will be there this Saturday-Monday and hope to see you to personally thank you for your tips and videos I've been watching even 6mo before my trip! Even this, I did not know you have to wait 30min before re-entering, great info
Hello Traver. I truly enjoy your videos and have used your tips when visiting Disneyland/Ca Adv. My family and I was hoping to run into you on our visits but our annual passes have expired back in February and can no longer afford to renew it. Hopefully next year but in the meantime looking forward to all your videos!
Checked out Saturday after spending the the week, and had a great week. Just wanted to let you know that the information we got from your channel was the most useful of all the Disneyland content we could find on RUclips. Also - I know this was just our experience of one week, but we had early entry and hands-down, The busiest day in the parks was on Wednesday when we rope dropped but didn’t use the early entry park. I’m wondering if, since now they rotate parks, the non-early entry park will be that much busier as locals and offsite guests try to avoid early entry crowds.
I don’t ever pay attention to it, to be honest. So I doubt locals are concerned with it. But everyone else might definitely be considering that. It doesn’t impact much (to me) unless it’s your goal to ride Radiator Springs Racers or Peter Pan’s Flight at rope drop. Those two rides are absolutely affected by early entry. Everything else, not so much.
I love your videos. So informative and easy to follow and the way you speak is relaxing and makes me feel better when I’m overstimulated. You’ve been a huge help in preparing for our upcoming trip. I’d love to see a demonstration about how rider switch works at a ride like Indiana jones because I’m still a little confused. Do I not make a lightning lane reservation for my too short child, and just for the other 3 of us? Do we go to the lightning lane and tell the cast member our one child doesn’t have a LL because he’s too short and we need to do ride swap? I’m a little nervous about doing that part of things there. It’s our first trip with kids. We usually go alone. 😊
I have an 8 month old and a 6 year old and we have genie plus. How do we book so then we each can go on the ride but one parent can stay with the 8 month old while the other parent is riding?
@@WinterStace You all book it, and all go to the front of the line. Tell the cast member you need a Rider Switch pass. They’ll instruct you all to scan your Lightning Lanes. Then they’ll issue the adult who sat out a different pass that’s basically a Lightning Lane, but they’ll also issue one to your 6 year old. That way he/she can ride it twice in a sense. Once with the parent that went the first time, and another with the parent who sat out. This way the parent who sat out doesn’t need to ride alone, and the older sibling gets a perk of riding multiple times.
Im not sure if you said it in this video or not but when you buy the fuel rod in the park do you get any charging cables in the pack when you first buy it. i heard that that was a thing before but then they changed it.
Went with one 40” kid and was able to get everything we wanted done without genie plus on a super busy day! I would suggest not getting it if you have small kids.
Hi Traver, we’re planning a trip from Baja to Disneyland in July. How good is the Wi-Fi /mobile (roaming) service in Disneyland? or what do you recommend getting to have a good reception to use the genie+ inside the park?
I'm looking for some advice.. I want to plan a trip with my family but want to make sure both Tiana's and Mansion are open when we go. What dates would you shoot for? Thanks! Love your channel! Your videos really helped when we went last May.
I don't actually know. I would guess there'd really be no need for it given that lines aren't terribly long during those events. Most people are getting photos with characters.
Reservations? Probably never. The reason WDW got rid of them is that 80% of their visitors are out of towners with date specific tickets. Like Disney knows I will be there May 16-25. They just don’t know what park I’m going to. Park Hopping, I’m hopeful that will eventually disappear here as it did there, but it may not. And that’s primarily because our parks are right next to each other. Almost no one will park hop right away at WDW because it takes so long to do.
Any of the confectioneries will sell marshmallow wands. It just won’t be colored like Tigger, but it’s the same taste minus the orange i guess, if it has orange flavoring. I’ve never actually eaten one.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thanks for the reply! Going in two weeks, my husbands first ever time at Disney we are so excited, love the videos, keep up the great work!
We usually go to Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, or Indiana Jones first. Depending on what we feel like for the day. Haunted Mansion is a good first ride if it’s Haunted Mansion Holiday (which of course depends on when you’re coming as it’ll likely be closed all Summer).
