Dragon moves can be a hit or miss sometimes, still better than some types like rock which have no reliable physical or special move (well… sometimes but most rocks are physical atkers
I need to contest the flamigo segment - its body is in the shape of a boxing glove, and it’s general shape is so simplified and plasticky that it more closely resembles a flamingo lawn ornament than an actual flamingo.
9:25 Technically not the name origin, but the Mareep line could also be a reference to the book "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?", what the film Blade Runner is based on.
Why does NOBODY EVER talk about how there’s a Scandinavian mythical creature called “gengangare” that is a ghost, and likely another origin of Gengar’s name?!
I've also heard people pronounce Honedge as if it were from "honor" and "edge" as this also creates the pun with "on edge". Also, I'm pretty sure that the root for Lucario, "O-ri-ca-ru", is supposed to be "oracle".
Flamigo may also come from flamenco(or flamengo in portuguese),it's a spanish dance that requires a lot of agile fancy footwork which would explain the fighting type, sincerely a brazillian who gets annoyed when people think it's a lazy name, also it's probably unrelated but flamengo is a famous brazillian football/soccer team so more footwork,i love etymology in general
There are good singular elements to its design, but none of them are pushed far enough for it to matter. It couldn't even pull off the Gen 1 level of simplicity correctly, proving that designs like Seel, Ponyta and Persian actually had something going for them. Therefore, its a failure. Which is a shame- the concept isn't bad (I'd probably have one if Pokemon were real ngl) if it had a few more drafts, AND we had that amazing leaked flamingo concept, too.
@@Birdsflight44 ture, i'd like to see an evolution with a boxing glove on its face, that'll be funny i have a feeling it'll get an evolution in a future gen, as its a great pokemon but so lacking in design
Fun fact: druddigon’s name origin comes from the words, dragon, ruddy (meaning reddish in color), and crimson which is a shade of red KID DRUDDI KID DRUDDI KID DRUDDIIIIIIII
Omg people who always say nacli is just a reference to NaCl which is salt, YOU ARE ALL WRONG. You able salt almost always has iodine added to it, and you know what iodine that has been added to table salt is? NaClI, or table salt
Like we said in the video, table salt is NaCl. Iodized salt is a mixture of pure salt and a separate compound including iodine, like NaI. Iodized salt is not one compound
I only play phony words in Scrabble
How dare you
Day 1 + 1 of trying to get EvilMEPlaysGames to have more subscribers than the light
You mean Phione words?
It is only because of this account that I realided that MEPlaysGames used to have a left handed controller as their pfp
Druddigon is accurate representation of how our parents and bootleg/parodies-makers think Pokémon look like
Despite Druddigon having the ability sheer force it gets no stab move that can benefit from this ability

Reminds me of how Golisopod's name comes from Goliath and Isopod yet some people still pronounce it Go-liss-o-pod instead of Go-lie-so-pod
I pronounce it “goh-LISS-oh-puh-pod” because I like saying it that way and YOLO.
And Muk is an anagram for the elements that create it; namely Potassium and Um, the element of confusion.
Um..... k...

4:50 there’s 2 other nations on Iberia, being Andorra, a really small country, and the United Kingdom, due to their ownership of Gibraltar.
Why does NOBODY EVER talk about how there’s a Scandinavian mythical creature called “gengangare” that is a ghost, and likely another origin of Gengar’s name?!

9:19 The Ogre part of Kyogre’s name is a corruption on the word Orca, since its appearance is close to that of an orca whale
If you replace nacl in all those pokemons names with Salt, it still sounds right.
Salti, saltsack, and gargasalt.
Stack?

Don't hate on my bird Flamigo. Sometimes a simple design is just better.
Glad to see some Portuguese recognition!
6:08 not really tho. His body also represents a boxing glove (alluding to the Fighting type), which is a pretty creative design
In my opinion they are meant to be pronounced “Salti” “Saltstack” and “Gargasalt”
i think we all are missing the point of flamigo of having a beak thats a fist

Can someone PLEASE explain why Veluza has 70 base speed? Is speed action speed? If so that would explain Pokemon like Vikavolt.

How is Druddigon officially classified as a “red” Pokémon?
we’ll get to that
@ It would be interesting to see another RUclipsr to look over the odd decision-making process that was the Pokémon Home color filter.
Druddigon is probably drudgery + dragon, referencing its boring design and lack of evolutions
sharpedo is for jeffrey epstein and shar
