I feel like his last album was him being who he thought he should at that point in his career. To me his recent releases feel like he has decided "I'm just gonna be me, if you feel it cool, if don't, that's cool too"
The fact that he displays every lyric in this video shows how proud he is of his songwriting. Most rappers nowadays would be terrified to highlight their lyrics but Chance thrives in it.
He copied writing the lyrics from Kota the Friend. it kind of sucks because Kota is lesser known and if he gets bigger people are going to think he copied Chance

This song encapsulates that struggle big time, but it's one of those songs that can be used for motivation for any type of struggle.

Chance and Joey have such complimentary flows and deliveries. They are both great in their own ways too but hearing them work together is always a treat. I think the fanbases are generally really similar too which is nice to see likeminded people collide every time they collab. I hope someday I can gather even a tenth of the amount of fans with the perspectives that theses two fan bases have for my own music. Truly unmatched energy🔥
