Thanks for the video. One of the problems I tend to encounter are unexpected issues that come from an older vehicle, so seeing how the alternator power wire was removed helped.

To keep from snapping bolts use a 3/8 ratchet instead of 1/2 inch and hold your hand on the head of the ratchet to keep your socket straight on the bolt and your other hand on the end of the ratchet to loosen the bolt

Just like everything else on the SN95 Mustang GT, this was also designed by a 6 year old little girl...
It is a totally ridiculously designed vehicle.

Thankyou! I'm glad it is not just me that thinks this!
Should be simple things, such as....
      Removing the rear seat.
      Access to fuses.
The amount of plastic clips that break.
      Wiring in the trunk.
Breaking your skull on the trunk latch every time you access the trunk.
      Oil filter placement.
      Replacing window regulator🤯.
      The list is endless.
Thanks for the video. This looks to be pretty much straightforward compared to everything else.
I love the car, but - Grrrrr!

So after fittling my new alternator immediately after replacing a window regulator, I went out for a fun drive, stopped to fill up with gas, had a guy shout out, "nice mustang buddy" with a thumbs up and immediately after another guy runs up screaming, "you're leaking gas everywhere man!"
      OK. Wot now?
Its the gas tank filler tube to tank seal....don'cha know!
$24.99 later I had one in hand, THEN found out it is advisable to drop the tank I'd just filled, (minus about 2 gallons on the gas station concrete). The 6 mile drive home, then took care of another 5 gallons, or so! Got home and the filler tube has a "no syphon" thingy.....🤔 OK.
(I have Eibach suspension, that lowers it 2-2.5" and it corners like a go-cart, so it needs to be jacked up).
So dig out the Jack stands.
Bang head again while emptying the trunk on the lock again, to access the filler tube hardware first. 2 Jack stands in place later....well
the seal had split into two pieces; one half on the filler tube still and the other....?
      inside the tank....
      ...🤔 again.
Well I removed the filler tube and fuel door hardware, laid on my creeper, flashlight in one hand, small mirror with handle in the other. hand.
Saw the missimg seal piece inside the tank. After siphoning out about another 6 gallons into gas cans through the big hole for the filler tube, I attacked it. Oh what fun.
2 wire coat hangers later: one to wire the mirror in place, one bent up with a hook in hand, flashlight in mouth, I dragged the AWOL seal half over to the filler hole, got a finger in place and tugged it out.
I will fit the new seal tomorrow, reassemble and attempt a fun drive in the p.m.
      What's next?
I'm retired, too old, but have a fit and badly beaten, broken body after a life as a military contractor. It was 100°F in Texas today too.
      Guinness in freezer.
I will be starting a FundMe page for Jack Daniels, Coca-Cola, Oxycodone and some sticky, Wheelchair Weed.... BUT....not until I've taken that drive!
Conclusion: You CAN replace the seal with the tank in place, but plan carefully, remove all that you can and put your beverage of choice on ice.
      SN95's....?
Like a bi-polar woman, but when everything is in working order, a bunch of fun!
