What a great event. I never realized how quickly the wings fold and unfold. Not many aircraft can get away with ruining a takeoff and landing shot. The B-17 can. What a beauty. Loved the 45 degree bank flyby. What a big beautiful warbird the turkey is. Another great video from you guys. Best airshow channel on RUclips. Thanks guys.
I can remember 63 taking off from Joliet on Sunday mornings. We had a condo on the end of runway 13. It was the most beautiful alarm clock you could ever imagine….
Got 2 add my $.02. Loved the hole sho...All r the neatest display of this a/c. I think the color scheme of the GW Bush demo was my fav. but it was so good 2 c all these great ships. Thanks and remember 06-06-44.
New Brunswick spruce budworms lived in fear of these planes. In the 1960s & 70s they would come in low from the east out of the rising Sun. The ride of the Valkyrie blaring. Spray released. Some said it looked like victory. I loved seeing these old birds working over the Canadian New Brunswick forests.
Not sure if any of these pilots read these , how ever GREENVILLE PA. You were so kind as to " scraff" a father and how many little boys.. just want to say they so wanted you to do it again and pretend you were dog fighting.. thank you so much. Made our day. But in what year was this. Only the pilot will know. Remember loose lips sink ships.

It's always described as TBM Avenger Reunion, so is it just for General Motors-built TBMs, and not for Grumman TBFs? 🤔
