Well , it is NOT true! I bought XP2, it is in the supported "unlock devices, but it NOT works with ver 7. REV5 Pioneer is also "supported" but still NOT work! Pioneer simply lie the customers! Thats it.
@@kudamah I share what happened to me. Rekordbox stoped after a month. Now I did the trick to download 0 USD version from their site and after a month maybe will make a new video to share what was the outcome.
@@electronicbox6990 i just find it odd cause i'm not a paid subscriber and it works. I'm more of a VDJ user, but i hv 3 rekordbox controllers so i dabble from time to time.
I've been a hardcore Pioneer user for 18 years now but what they do right now is horrible. I would never choose Pioneer brand for controller/software use.
How old is this video that you think people are still concerned with the sync button? Are they really? Granted, when it first came out a decade or so ago, I bitched about it along with everybody else, as I worked so hard to perfect that thing but after a while, it now is as ubiquitous as some of these new school DJ is not even using damn headphones.
If you ask me, headphones are obsolete today. If you plan your set song by song, you really don't need them. If you analyse the tracks with MIXED in KEY, you don't need cue as well. To be honest many DJs today are using INears, simply to avoid the noise in the club. This way they protect their hearing. They are listen to the master channel only, or put the blend knob in the middle, so that they can still PFL if they need it, for some longer sets. It is ridiculous to switch off sync just to show that you are a macho DJ. The audience don't care. They care what their listen, and how you enter and exit a song, that's it. If you mess with pitch control you are wasting time for nothing, think about it. I am from the era of Technics 1210. I was a DJ long enough to don't want to this again. I still love technics, but sync simply helps you polish your performance and do mashups on the fly.
@@electronicbox6990 Not sure what style you spin, but nothing gets the bpm perfect, and spinning most dnb, it either cuts it half or doubles it. For whatever reason loading sometimes even after you correct it, the song still loads incorrectly. You NEED headphones. Tech isn't perfect, and I want my sets to be as close as possible. Plus I freestyle. More energy for the crowd and it doesn't come off as planned. Need headphones. Lots more reasons. But do you and whatever makes you comfy, no cap.
If you buy the hardware the accompanying software should be included at no extra cost. even when there is a new version.

The trial in rb7 was only for added features on subscription tho. All other devices not listed as being on subscription still works for free.
@@kudamah well, not in my case bro
@electronicbox6990 how would it be different for u and not everyone else?

They are separate programs, you can find the version on pioneer website or their forum
