I agree. I don't consider Delphi to be anything more than fanfiction and I don't care for The Cursed Child. Just speculating on the what if: I just wonder that if Delphi is considered an accident, since Moldy Voldy never wanted heirs, does that mean that Bella, desperate for her master's love, roofied him with Amortentia? I guess since she's powerful and skilled enough to perhaps equal him in battle, obliviated him when he started to throw a fit about having been intimate with anyone. Then she just twisted her huband's mind with more spells to make him think she finally allowed him to touch her to have her own child. I believe I recall in the book, Bellatrix said to Narcissa in Snape's house that if she had a son, she would be proud to have Voldy give her own child a mission. If Voldy ever realized, it's possible he let it slide as Bella is useful and the child would maybe be pure enough? I don't know. It's all crazy to even consider, but then again so is Hagrid and the question of how his tiny wizard dad impregnated a giant. 🤔My head hurts now.
Personally, I don't refer to The Cursed Child in any way because of the numerous contradictions to canon. Delphi is just fanfiction written by JKR the same way "What if?" is Marvel fanfiction by Marvel "writers."
You have the most soothing voice, which encourages listening to and absorbing what seem like lessons in an undergraduate university course. Also the illustrations which accompany these lectures are beautifully rendered. I would like to know more about you and the artist(s).
You put all the blame on Merope. She didn't grow up with love either. The fault falls squarely on Salazar Slytherin's prejudice and that he passed it down to his descendants.
So true. Any of Slytherins decendants could have chise another path and stopped the cycle of abuse arrogance and prejudice that was rampant in thier family long before Merope was even born.
If Dumbledore destroyed the ring with the Resurrection Stone in it then how did Harry get the stone from the Snitch ? The only way that could have happened is if Dumbledore was able to remove the stone . IE: the curse on his hand . Voldemort was a mix blood . Any children he may have had would be as well .
Merope is a name out of Greek mythology, and just like other names from Greek mythology, such as Persephone, Penelope, and Hermione, the final e is pronounced (MARE-oh-pee). Sometimes the final e is pronounced in this video, but other times it isn't.
Please dont drag The Cursed Child and Delphi into this. TCC is nothing more than glorified fanfiction. It contradicts the OG books in many ways, depicts Harry as a terrible father, and doesnt fit within the timeline established in the OG books. Simple math will tell you that Bellatrix was likely too old to have children (especially by accident) and she would have had to be heavily pregnant at the time of her torturing Hermione in the Malfoy Manor. I also think that Voldemort, by that time, wasnt human enough to produce offspring Personally, I think that he was asexual . He never showed any interest in sexual relationships, no matter how subtle, throughout any of the books. For contrast, there are hints at sexuql relationships for other characters throughout the books EI : Dumbledore and Grindelwald.
I'll never accept the Hallows as canon. They were hastily invented plot devices used to give Harry the W. None of them held any real significance aside from the Wand. We should have given Rowling more time with the final book. Maybe then we wouldn't have gotten a half arsed, rushed piece of work.
Tom Riddle Sr. Was just like his own son Tom Marvolo Riddle Jr. He was manipulative, self-centered, narcissistic and a psychopath. When he found out that a nobody like Merope was obsessed with him, he decided to take advantage of her, even she was ugly and strange. Although he may not have known she was a witch. He used her for his own game and even went so far as to marry her for a while and impregnate her. When he felt he had achieved his goal with her, he discarded her as trash. Uncaring and unaware that she was carrying his child. Though Dumbledore only suspected Merope to use a love potion is still not a real proof! Some people are just very good at using people to their own game. Even J.K.Rowling haven't confirmed that Merope in fact did use a love potion on Tom Riddle Sr. It is more likely that Merope Gaunt just was a poor naive victum all her life through and in the end gave up on living after she gave birth to her son.
agree…. Voldemort inherited arrogance, pride, narcissism etc, from both sides of the family…. it was the lack of love and nurture while an infant that caused these factors to be part of his character… many thousands of people are born from a loveless union and do not become a “Voldemort “ in life …. everyone needs to receive love and be cared for throughout childhood to become a balanced adult.. but it’s no use blaming everyone… they may have been the reason something happened, but not the blame, for they did not mean to do this, it’s because of the parenting they received, and their parents received all the way back since the beginning …
I believe you're correct. Tom's mom was a squib, and may not have even been capable of brewing potions. Plus the Guants probably lacked the books to the recipe. They were probably too poor for ingredients anyway. Dumbledore had a closed mind when it came to Tom and everything surrounding him. That shaded his opinion on how Tom's mom got pregnant.
Delphi is nothing more than fan fiction authored by someone who couldn't possibly have read a book, let alone any Harry Potter books.

How can Delphi be a pureblood if her father was a half blood?

Sounds like the Gaunts were the Wizarding Hapsburgs.
You seriously need to make an audiobook adaptation of the books
His conception. It was under influence of a love potion.
I see 🧐 the Dark Lord and I click no questions asked
Dumbledore knew Parseltongue
Delphi isnt pureblooded, her grandfather was a muggle!😮
It was not a theory that Dumbledore thought over the love potion he saw it in the Pensieve
