- Watch how to pick, grow, open and eat sprouted coconut. Did you know that the inside of a sprouted coconut is edible? When the coconut sprouts, the inside #endosperm transforms itself into a delicious, nutritious marshmallow-like texture, called a coconut apple. You will simply need a sprouted coconut, which you can grow on your own! For this, you will need to find or buy a ripe coconut without any signs of rotting or damage. Vet for rotting and damage by shaking it to ensure that there is water and making sure there aren’t any unpleasant smells coming from the coconut. Here are a few tips on how to make the growing process go by quicker. Fill the container with sand or garden soil mixed with sand. It will also be useful to make a few deep slits on top of the coconut all the way around, since we do not know exactly where the sprouting pores are. Place your coconut in the container with the sand slightly upright at about a 45° angle so that the sprouting pore is above the ground. Cover about 2/3 of the coconut with wet sand leaving just the top of the coconut uncovered. Put it in a very sunny spot because coconuts love the sun. For a coconut to sprout, the ideal temperature needs to be around 30° C and not lower then 15° C while the humidity needs to be no less then 70%. We highly recommend you water your coconut everyday and make sure that the sand is always wet. In approximately 2 months, you will start to see your coconut sprout and in around 3-4 months you will see a small coconut much like the one here.#coconut #sprouted #coconutmilk #coconutwaterbenefits #coconutplant #bahamas #travelvideo #catisland #traveltheworld

I just ordered 2 sprouted coconuts from Miami Fruit. One of them sounds like there's still water in there when it should have that foam. If I do this, will more foam form?
All the coconut water should be spend for development of endoderm
Miami fruit prices are ridiculous!
Now I don’t know what to choose😅 the fruit or the tree🥲
Can u still grow the coconut after u eat the inside just wondering
Maybe, if root system developed enough and you provide soil enriched with nutrients.
Is the tree dead without the shell?
No, but it will probably die, or become a unhealthy plant.

You killed the palm
there are already plenty of coconut palms on that beach
He don’t kill it, the coconut is the shell of the seed. The tree already had roots
@@dailyguy6189 yes, but that tree won't grow well. There are plenty of coconuts, so you should just plant another one.
