I'm in tears, specially learning that they've come off the vulnerable breed list. Here in the States, I had OES rescues for 40 years.

Love the character of the valhund, look at his little nub wiggling when he greets the judge.

I was gonna say, the Kangal looks an awful lot like an Anatolian. xD (Like the Bouvier and Black Russian had looked like cousins. And the Hovawart like a retriever. And the PLS a bit like a Beardie/Tibetan Terrier cross, or mini-Beardie or something.)
Nice dreads on the Pyrenean sheepdog/shepherd. I love the less common smooth-faced variety too.
Bizarre to see a long tail on a Pembroke. The Cardi's supposed to be "the Corgi WITH the tail," heheh.
The Kuvasz is on the Import Register (not enough of a following in the UK yet to be on the full breed list). The Leonberger is in the Working group. I'm sure the Anatolian & Kangal dogs only split very recently. Until then, they were registered as the same breed, but the breeders of both argued that they were different (although, I'm not sure what makes them different). It's thought that the PLS is the ancestor to the Beardie. And lastly, Pembroke's can be born with a natural bob tail, or a full tail. It's been illegal to dock dogs for over a decade now, so if the dog was born with a tail, it keeps it. Just watching again before this years competition (starts on the 7th if you're interested).

What a shame that they still produce GSD with these awful sloping backs.
Fortunately, we have breeders that breed working lines. These dogs have straight backs and healthier hips.
I thought that one was an improvement. Still sloping, but it's definitely getting straighter. I went in person in 2020, & the poor shepherd was walking on its hocks because its back was so slanted.
Very sad to see the "German shepherd" with a sloping back.
Even with th 3point stack, back should be level, slight slope from th croup( hipjoint) over angulation cause to run on their hocks, way worse here U. S.
Yes it is very sad even if they look better now than a few years back.
That dog doesn't have a slope in the slightest. The slope is caused by the 3 point stack.
@@Memow-pk1ng the back being leveled in a stack is actually a sign of over angulation. You want a moderate sloping topline in the stack.

In Germany, people prefer dogs from GDR lines. These are working lines with straight backs. 95% of dogs from those lines are free of HD.

Shouldn't the Samoyed be in a group with the Huskies and Malamute,working group?
It's a dual purpose breed. Is a sled dog, but also guards & herds reindeer. So it could be in either.

Lovely structured gsd, gait could be a bit better, but otherwise very nice. Sadly too much hate towards the breed.
Finally starting to get the dogs back to a trotting dog , not a sprint dog. this dog wold be acceptable in all countries.

Oh please, for goodness sake!. Why can't they leave the old English sheepdogs coat alone?! It looks more like a bloody poodle. They're supposed to be natural, not a puffed up hairbrush

@@goymedhundDogtrainingBehavior that's the way ate groomed, I think may be bcz supposed to have a lumbering gait like a bear, & the hair ( is teased, backcombed) up, & movement of hair shows it off , . ??
Rough collies & Shelties also get their ruff around neck brushed up, just show standards.
The grooming that goes into O ES, wet the dpgdown & is half size u see,.. the coat is very thick, they lay on grooming table for HOURS, !!
Most pets get shaved down,

Dutch shepherds aren’t even in the import register at the KC, you won’t find em at KC shows, only FCI and UKC
I used to have a Dutchie. Wonderful dogs. I'm sorry to hear they're not recognized in the UK.
My Belgian sheperd short hair is a little 💩 but ide never want a dog in crufts F that.

On the contrary, I find it very weird, if people are okay with chopping off limbs. Even worse, if it is done for purely aesthetic reasons.
