Gardener - chef - decorator - crafts - there is no end to your talents! Brent did a superb job of filming, especially the close-up shots. Thank you for sharing the recipes and your talents with us. That bread looks amazing and delicious. Too bad we don't have "taste" You-Tube.
Robbie, thank you for sharing your recipes. You are not only talented in the garden but in the kitchen as well. Thanks for taking your time to make this post after Christmas.
One tip I do to help my dough rise faster is to microwave my kitchen towel (folded) for a minute before covering the bowl. Sometimes I also do another towel for the bottom. Every 20-30 minutes I reheat the kitchen towel (towel ONLY - not the bowl)
Hi Robbie, I LOVE YOU!!!! I live in Texas near Houston and I LUV watching your show I am 60 years old and I want you to know that you and Brent bring a smile to my face every time I get to watch you. You need to do a blog named "ROBBIE'S RECIPES". You make me want to start back baking. I would also love a " ROBBIE' S REVIEW" so we can see you using and reviewing a product - it doesn't matter if it's skincare to kitchenware or even a yard or garden gadget. Anyway keep smiling, keep being true to you. God Bless you and Brent. Ms. Karen.
Robbie, I'm a trained chef and I'm with you - I love to use chicken stock over beef stock for my chili and pot roast too. 😊 I just think the flavor is better!
I ordered my a Dutch oven on Amazon yesterday so I can make this today. I freeeaked out when my bread looked raw/white after 20mins so I continued to cook for another 15 mins with lid off. CHILI was a big hit with the fam! Was all so yummy! Thanks for the fun winter cozy content! PS. I couldn't wait for the bread to cool either.
Robbie, I was so happy to cook with you..I have been wanting to make bread for sometime now you have given me the courage to try it. It looks delicious!!! I'll bring the wine and cheese, loll:-)) enjoy!
I really enjoyed this video! Loved the backdrop of your kitchen! Nothing fancy or grand but a typical kitchen ❤. I’ve come to realize it’s not really what you are doing it’s you that I enjoy! Keep growing! It’s been fun sharing this journey with you!
There is nothing like the smell of fresh bread in the house on a rainy day. What a pleasure watching you. Question- when you were cutting the bread before baking, I couldn’t tell, but it sounded like the knife hit the bottom of the pan. Just asking because I am not a bread maker. Thanks Robbie and Brent.
Robbie, I know this is a gardening channel but really appreciate when you share your culinary expertise. I had no idea there’s that big of a difference in weighing the ingredients vs. taking the cups, etc. measurements offered in the recipe. Thank you for taking the time to show us. I didn’t know that onion and garlic could be frozen. Do you freeze them in certain portion sizes and then keep them in one container? How long can they be kept in the freezer?
Hi Robbie! I really enjoy your cooking videos, too, and hope you will do more of them. I think the flower on the mahogany splendor hibiscus is a really pretty color. I watched the video you linked for the quick bread so I could write out the recipe and watch the process, then be able to add notes from your video. The only thing I didn't see you do is “lift and slap” the dough. 😉🤣 The bread looks really good. So, now that you've tried it, do you recommend it, or do you have a recipe for quick bread that you like better? The chili looks really good, too. I liked the ease of just opening cans and dumping the ingredients into the pot. Thank you so much for sharing!
It is Yum alright!! Chili in a cold day warms up your bones. I love homemade fresh bread and like you I get impatient waiting for it to cool down before cutting into it and 99% of the time it will still be too hot 😅 You game me my tomorrow meal idea, thanks 😂😂
YUMMY YUM YUM 😋 My Chili is about the same as yours 😊 I too use taco seasoning, green chilies, I like 2 c Ranch Style Beans, and 2 Pintos. I just had that Sunday 😋 The bread looks good too! I have only done Cornbread in a cast iron skillet. Thank you for sharing this with us. Ya'll have a great weekend and we'll see you Monday. 😊
What a great looking meal! I’m from Texas and I’ve never seen corn in my chili and never put beans in my chili! But I have to say I’ll have to try this recipe!!! The bread just looks amazing!!! Great job!!!♥️♥️♥️
I’m a chili snob and only REALLY enjoy my mom’s chili recipe. It’s an old recipe and my brother and I enjoyed it so much growing up. It’s probably NOT to everyone’s idea of chili but if I had to I could live on it. 🌲❄️⛄️💚🙃
The mahogany splendor hibiscus is beautiful! I took cuttings of mine last year, and it bloomed like yours! I was amazed! I’ll be planting more this year! I’m excited for seed starting; I got a new grow light for Christmas! Yay!
Warm bread! I'll be making it on Sunday. I have all except the bread flour, or I'd be making it today. 😊 Thank you for the good step by step directions.
Question - Taco mix and not chili mix? Never considered using taco mix for chili, but I like taco soup and chili, so the recipe seems like the perfect blend of both!
Good morning!! Looks like it was a windy day in your background window that’s how it was here Christmas Eve in Bakersfield . Once you busted out the beans I thought to myself it’s time to make bread for the first time. I’m putting this on my New Year’s Eve menu for the family. Thanks for sharing .
Next week baking cookies? Lol. Where did you get the plant holder that is attached to your cabinet? I need that!!!! Id love to learn how to make sourdough starter maybe a video on that? Btw love the pics on the fridge 😊
I don’t cook as much as I used to but man I do love making bread. Chili is one of my favorite things to make in winter. Are you the main meal maker at home or does Brent enjoy cooking as well?
Hi Robbie, love this video I'm not a baker, but I need to try Baking this bread it looks delicious. What app was the slideshow of pictures next to you?
That's the first time I've seen blooms on a Mahogany Splendor plant. Can you collect seeds now? I often wondered how you could if they aren't known for blooming.
Beans are so good for you, they build you immunity. Kidney beans are good for your kidneys. That all looks so good. Start a cooking channel too! Just kidding. But your kitchen is so cute. Another house tour please.
I have been trying to figure out your fridgerator as you bake..lol. What is coming up on your door...not to be too nosey...but ok I am nosey...what is the brand and price?😂

Hi Robbie, love this video

Baking this bread it looks delicious. What app was the slideshow of pictures next to you?
That's the first time I've seen blooms on a Mahogany Splendor plant. Can you collect seeds now? I often wondered how you could if they aren't known for blooming.
Hi, Robbie. Do you think if you grew mahogany splendor hibiscus inside it would bloom? Maybe it could be treated like a houseplant.
Beans are so good for you, they build you immunity. Kidney beans are good for your kidneys. That all looks so good. Start a cooking channel too! Just kidding. But your kitchen is so cute. Another house tour please.
Looks amazing!
What size pot do you have? Do you find that size to be the most versatile?
Hi Robbie 🤗 what are you planning to cook for New year party
