    Looking for some challenge and a economic helicopter? Try this WL Toys V922 palm size CP helicopter
    After playing Co-Axial helis and those Bell Rotor head helis, what's next? Well, maybe a palm size CP heli. CP means Collective Pitch, the main blade can change angle according to Throttle Stick movement, they are usually the expert type of heli, because they are difficult to setup, and CP helis can do 3D tricks. This V922 is truly a 6-Channel CP helicopter, however, it's not hard to setup, in fact, you CANNOT setup, because on this V922 factory aimed for entry class players, they simply took away ALL settings functions like Pitch Curve or Throttle Curve, you have nothing to setup, good for beginners, bad for experts. It's basically a Plug and Play CP helicopter for starters, which is rare on the market, lack of extra functions can make the cost go down, and that makes less troubles to beginners, come to think about it, it's a quite good idea.
    The V922 is a very high tech small heli, it has a Flybarless rotor head, which is the latest technology on the market, as you can see, the rotor head is very neat and tidy, it is a efficient design, and must work with a 3-Axis gyro, the V922 also has it onboard, for the price, you get more than you expected. The V922 use a lot of elastic plastic, they absorb damage when crashing, we tested the V922 hard and crashed countless times, it still flies, this is amazing.
    The V922 is such a great value helicopter for those who has experience on Co-Axial or Single Rotor Head helis before, if you do not want trouble with the fancy 6-channel CP helicopter settings, try this V922, it simply has nothing to setup, and nothing to setup means nothing to go wrong.

    It's a little switch thing. You press it, and it reverses rudder, and elevator as long as it's held. This lets you fly inverted without reversing controls.

    @pilotavery 11 лет назад

    Also, with CP helis, the throttle and collective are separate. In idle up mode, the blades spin full speed the whole time. Center stick is middle. Up stick changes the angle of the blade, and so it goes up. Center stick is no throttle, but the blades are still spinning. Push the stick down past half way, and it pushes the heli down (To fly inverted)
    When you switch idle up mode off, it turns into normal mode, where the angle is set to 75%, and then the throttle controls the speed once again.

    Of course! It just reverses the controls! If you let go, it will crash. Flying a heli inverted is hard. It's almost as hard as balancing a pencil on the tip of your fingers. Most helis, when you let go, they center. CP helis, with adjustable pitch, when you let go, they stay exactly in the orientation they were in.

    To add just in case dont know it has a switch so can fly inverted without controls being opposite so can practice flying upside down etc easier before more advanced 3d.

    Just bought one,agree with other comment,v911 i think is a great little copter,this is next step,if order from hong kong then its around £50 which is great value.Parts are cheap and recommendations are spare boom,drive gear and landing gear.All in about £5 delivered for parts..........Good thing too with it being small and light(is heavier than the 911) withstand my poor flying skills a bit better than a 200 or more size copter lol

    It sounds confusing, but once you get into RC stuff, it's pretty fun. CP helis can do some crazy stunts, like roll over and over, loop, etc.

    Genius CP V2 is highly recommended: well-developed, good performance, durable and easy to learn. :)

    The wings stabilize the heli a bit for forward flight. Flat blades without the tips would probably be better suited for 3D.

    @psalmxider 11 лет назад

    actually it has two modes. L and H, L is the easy inverted mode. H is the traditional stunt mode.

  • @rcmodelr
    @rcmodelr 11 лет назад

    Can it fly inverted without flipping the invert switch? It's better to learn inverted without the switch so when advancing to 3D tumbles, etc., you get used to simply moving throttle/collective correct directions instead of having to remember "Going inverted not... Gotta flip the switch... Going back upright now.... Gotta remember to flip the... OOPS!!! TOO LATE!!!"

  • @HeliPal
    @HeliPal  11 лет назад

    that is the trick. To flip this thing takes so practices, it's unlike traditional CP helis, I will put the video online soon!

  • @HeliPal
    @HeliPal  11 лет назад

    Yes, you can but if you really want to learn flipping, V922 may not a good choice. After learning with V922, you may not able to learn how to flip correctly with other models in the future.

    This looks great, About to order one off EbaY. But i must know, Is it worth my money? I own the Wltoys v911 micro heli which is a 4ch and i have had it for about 4 months now, decided it's time to move up a level. v911 is great and i highly recomend it, but really, is the v922 worth $120-$200?

  • @HeliPal

    Right man, I will try some in the next video.

  • @HeliPal

    It features a dummy mode to fly inverted, it's quite fun, and after my torture, the heli still in once piece and keep flying, so yes, I think it worth the green. =)

    L mode........ Now how does that actually work? Idle up switch is on in L mode try to take off it won't, turn it on in mid flight it will plummet straight down. Again, how does it work? Do I start out by holding the heli upside down? Do I HAVE to flick up the idle up switch in mid flip? Or AM I NOT suppose to use idle up in L mode AT ALL because in L mode its already ready to do flips and shit =P without switching on idle up?

  • @MrCpmboy

    do you still have control while in that mode?....

  • @RickSteffey

    I too was wasting 3 minutes to see if this heli is 3D capable with you flying inverted. You should have shown how you 'hand start' flying inverted, then fly around. Waste of time and won't get this heli

    Bad video, cause you don`t show us how you flip it. you should expain that you can´t do it or that it is different than real 3d helis
