Beautiful Scale Helicopter for Beginners - Presenting the WL Toys V915 "LAMA" Helicopter
The "Lama" Helicopter is a classic in RC helicopter community, we used to fly those small toys that look just like this, back then they were fragile and with Two rotors on top (Co-Axial Helis). Now thanks to WL Toys factory they brought this classic back, but with some modern upgrades. Now they don't use the Co-Axial rotors anymore, instead they used the Bell Rotor Head design, which is basically a thin metal rod with a weight ballast on each end, it spins with the rotor, when it build up speed it will act like a Mechanical Gyroscope which will make the heli very stable, a simple and easy to repair design (it's very durable). A brushed motor controlled tail rotor and electronic gyroscope will keep the heli pointing at same direction precisely.
The heli was made for beginners (first time flyers), it's very durable and very easy to fly, basically you just add throttle and the heli will go straight up. You can also do some fine tuning with the trims on the RC controller to make it stays still in mid air. The heli is very light weight, which we recommend you fly it Indoor or backyard flying (zero wind). Came with a real 2.4Ghz Radio Set, which you won't experience any radio frequency problem and a battery charger for the heli, each charge takes about 45-60 minutes and fly for 5-7 minutes. We recommend this beautiful bird for everyone who loves Scale Helis, put it on "display" and actually "play" it.

This is the first time I've ever seen a modes switch in a controller to switch between mode 1 and mode 2. Ingenious.
I own this one since more than 2 years, and always happy with it ! I make some little modifications, first 1300 mAh battery to have 9 minutes of flight and new carbon rotor blades. More nervous with it, it is always a pleasure to make it fly.
Are those batteries replaceable? Does it uses 2s 850 mah lipos ? Right? Also i have heard opening and changing the batteries are hard is that true? Appreciate your feedback
@@marutheeshsai8578 Did you read my comment ??? I put 1.300 mAh batteries in it, so they are replacable ! Not so hard to do, only carefully dismantle cockpit, remove the plastic ribs to make room for the battery, and ensure that they can be easily removed and replaced. I did it, anyone can do it !

How do you swap batteries?
anyway, this helicopter is designed to interchange the battery, like any other RC model. Here there is no hatch to open. Just unplug it, slide it out of its housing, and put in another one... You can see it at 03:40

elias katsigiannis Yes, but you must find one that can handle a 2S LiPo voltage and mount it on the outside, as the canopy is semi transparent black plastic.

Still no reply from you guys. i'll ask again. could you please help me locate the ground cable from the zenmuse h3-3d. i have a ground cable going from my micro usb to my tx to remove interference on my fpv screen, but i need to know what cable from the gimbal is ground soo i can do the work inside and not have any cable on the outside. tnx!..

marc z We use Final Cut Pro for our video :)
You can use a multimeter to probe the ground plane and the wires to figure out which one connects to ground. If you don't have one yet, definitely get one. Multimeter is every RC hobbyist's most important tool.
