I was a GMH guy until I owned my first bf Ute that was a great car reliable and good to use for work (a bit thursty) but fun to drive miss it Now driving a Honda K powered car vtec is a good thing Now I’m not loyal to any brand just love to see variety as much as possible the true car guys can appreciate the work the guys put in that build cars like the ones you feature dare to be different I only wish I could build something half as nice as your feature cars Your both soo good at pulling the piss out of guys keep up all the laughs 😂

Economy and power when you want it,they are a tuners dream engine. Massive aftermarket support,stock K-24 can handle 400-500 hp with no internal mods-there’s no 4 cylinder engines that I know of that can compete with those figures on stock internals. I’ve had my days with barras and Holden v8s,I’m now a JDM guy 100%.
The Green GTR with a Barra ran 8.4’s @172mph on a stock block, stock crank. New engine being built now will have a filled stock block, full forged rotating assembly chasing 2000hp+
At 1000hp I couldn't give the fury crack of a rats behind what it sounds like, when you give it some beans, no one's being pushed back into the boot going, shit that sounds horrible
it's not just about the hp i have a e90 bmw with a fg na barra with a turbo on it 1 i was told it would never fit 2 it was cheaper than rebuilding the shyt bmw engine 3 it is more reliable 4 i did not want to put a ls or a k24 in it as it has been done to death it is something different and most of all it was my decision the winger has most likely never done a conversion in his life.The fact of the matter is people do different conversions because it is different and their choice not to just follow the norm chers from broken hill

Barra turbo in an early commodore makes perfect sense due to the lightweight body, no firewall mods and engine capacity to kerb weight calculation means it can be blue plated (Qld) where LS turbo exceeds the limit. Not like that stops anyone up here from doing it
2 of my brothers have new patrols 1st thing they did in 1st week chop the mufflers off... And Toorak/Thailand tractors with their 4 cylinder diesels sound great 😂
When you push regular engine up there it's not only the gas mileage but the maintenance too 90% of the cars can't handle that lvl of power for daily use. driving them 4 hours in the scorching sun lol what re we talking about 🤣 for most engines 400-500whp is more then enough and still you want see the 200k miles on them either .(talking always for those older engine ppl do modify)

I own a Vs ute with a fg turbo enginered conversion and I’m sorry to say but 330hp on a mild tune is a hell of alot better than throwing $20,000 at a 5litre in those cars

that BF F6 defiantly isn't the fastest but its 100% street car. Sure he could turn it up and go faster but then he needs a big ass roll cage and safety equipment just to be allowed at a track.. Then its not and wont feel like a street car. I love my FG ute, full leather, duel zone climate control, touch screen with android auto and car play, all the haltech gear, ic7 dash and dash mount and most importantly 750 at the rears with a lot more to go, its just not needed until i go from street to pro street? edit. High mount manifold, 50mm external gate, custom 4.5inch dump pipe with a screamer pipe sounds awesome compared to most barras so i wasnt offended haha

Mine and the bf f6.. more weekend cars for nice days and events. i only run about 15psi on the street on 20s at car meets or if i just want to drive it. mines off the road at the moments to loose some weight, fit standard rear brakes, 18inch fronts, 15inch rears on proper rubber. So tail shaft and diff will be getting upgrades.. Race cars are fun
