I love this declutter. A lot of people get rid of half of their products, which is great, but they still keep a crazy amount of stuff they won’t use. It’s nice to see a declutter that is extreme and reasonable.
I’m over the collection phase too but haven’t decluttered down to the absolute loves yet. Thank goodness I have a daughter in college. I’ve passed on a lot to her and her friends. I think I’m going to declutter the Cali Contour palette too. It’s muddy on me, no matter how I apply it. I’m at the point that I can window-shop Sephora but nothing sparks my interest enough to add it to the collection because I don’t want to have a collection anymore. It was a super satisfying and motivating video!

I recently devlutted 20+ eyeshadow palettes (unfilmed because I didn't want to deal with the comments) and it was so freeing. I passed them all to friends and family members. ❤️

Best Declutter I’ve seen, truly decluttering! Now you have to get rid of those make up containers because you’re going to be urged to start filling them up again. Maybe hand them over to your friend so she can store the make up that you’re going to be giving her lol

Hello! I used a break between studying for STEP 2 to declutter my makeup. I am down to 2 foundation/ skin tints only and 2 lipsticks. I am in shock! Definitely decluttered goal accomplished!
I'm definitely still in my makeup phase, but have realized how redundant a lot of it is, so I don't need much. Everything I have now fits in a makeup travel case + 6 palettes. Plus about 634829 brushes
Excited to watch this (also probably to try and psych myself up for doing the same - nope, still haven't done it yet)! I have a lot of thing that my "alter ego" would wear in a different life but in reality I never put on anything more than basic skincare unless I'm out to see someone I haven't in a while or I'm film in a video.

I discovered RUclips make up videos a few years ago and really got into it. I bought more stuff than I needed or could ever use. I’m back to being minimal about my makeup but need to remind myself fairly regularly that if I want something, think about it… you already have something exactly like it, because we tend to buy the same things over and over again. I will say though when I saw you declutter your Cali Contour palette, a part of me was going “NOOOOOO! Don’t do it!!!” When I did my brutal declutter after getting too much and realizing I wanted to go back to having minimal products, I got rid of my Cali Contour palette. And I missed it so much, that I ended up buying another one. Its the only thing I’ve EVER done that with (get rid of it, just to buy another one). Anyway, its a great product.

Thanks for your solar paint video, there really aren't many showcasing all the shades in good lighting. I ended up getting the third shade down the spectrum, haven't received it yet-- but I know it'll be perfect cuz I just got it to use to mute all my bright blushes into nudes: I love spark, so I got dawn and storm to round out my collection. Have you tried phytosurgence's blushes? I'm gonna see how similar fume and molten are to the cloud paints. I also got more futuredew, go figure 🥴 I'm finally scraping the corners of my elf workout ready cheek quad so I don't feel guilty about indulging in all this lmao

I've really never understood a makeup 'collection' - it's like if someone told me they collect shampoo... Hmmm... To me makeup is just something functional that hides flaws and enhances my looks. Once I find a product I like I stick with it until they stop making it or change something about it, then I find another one. I can't imagine having more than two foundations (one light, one dark). But I do love a declutter, so here I am. Your makeup organizer now looks pretty much like mine!
If someone likes different coverages to their foundation and skin tints, I can see how it could increase the count. Or when one makes mistakes and gets the wrong colour 😅. I have two myself but they're not summer and winter, just in a creamy stick format and a matte liquid foundation in a pump format
Make sure to sniff those tower 28 lip thingies before you pass them on. The brand is known for going bad quite fast Also, when you go through your current highlighter , I reccomend trying out the nabla one in the same line ! It's my FAVOURITE
why keep telescopic if you hate it lolll i loved this video it’s been very inspiring. I used to be so so into makeup and trying new products and the past few years i’ve just been keeping my face stuff super super minimal and having fun with eyeliners which saves so much space !!
I literally felt sick when I saw how much money I wasted on collecting a bunch of products that literally EXPIRE. I feel so much better now with a minimal collection of things that I actually use. Except concealer, I have a few because I use them for my whole face as base makeup lol.

Give those tower 28 glosses a sniff before you hand them off! They go bad fairly quickly (for me at least but I used mine a lot so that might be why)
