  • EDIT in May 2020: Here we are years later and I still use this headset for online meetings, which are much more prevalent in these days of COVID-19. This headset is undoubtedly the most comfortable I have ever worn and continues to have superb audio quality. Although it is long out of manufacturing, there are plenty of them floating around on eBay, so don't hesitate to try one out if you are looking for a comfortable headset that sounds great (both in and out) and does not break the bank.
I show and comment on aspects of these two headsets. I then test each by recording with Screenpresso [sic] and adding the two video tests to the end. All in all, I find things to like about both headsets, and I find things to dislike about each.

Hi, I have recently watched a few videos on these two headsets as I need one now for dictation and think that your video has all the right info compared to other videos. I am quite surprised to see that there are so few views on your videos as your comparison review is really good. Thank you.

I thought it might be time for an update to this video. I am still using the Jabra, it continues to perform perfectly. I don't even notice the lack of heavy grip anymore, I'm used to sitting a certain way where the headphone stay on. And of course the sound is super. I did buy a small pair of Sennheiser PC 8, which was the set I used before this. I use those on another computer in another room, and of course I keep them for backup in case the Jabra ever gets destroyed somehow. All in all, I would put the Jabra on top of everything, and then the Sennheiser PC 8 as your cheap alternative.

I didn't notice excessive sibilance with the Jabra. It sounds great.

I like how you presented both headsets. It really helps a lot. Im thinking on buying between Jabra UC voice 550 MS duo vs. Logitech stereo h650e. would you still recommend Jabra in this case? I live in SE asia and does a lot of video calls daily. Im planning to order overseas coz both products arent available in our area, and does find your review quite helpful.

Hi, I've been entirely pleased with the Jabra. It is the most comfortable headset for long term use I have ever used (and I use it everyday for hours). Although Logitech makes good headsets, none I have used have ever been this comfortable. And the sound on the Jabra is about as good as it gets. So my opinions have become even more solidly behind the Jabra than before.

Thank you for the review! May I ask how is the noise cancelling for Jabra when you are typing or using the mouse? 😊

If you mean "will the noise be recorded or heard at the other end of a call" then yes, unfortunately. But droning sounds are left out completely. I sit beside a furnace and can record videos safely.

Hello... I'd like to know how's the noise cancelling for Jabra if ever you have a dog barking continuously. It will also record or it can be heared/recorded? Thank you!

How to connect this to my mobile

Just FYI its likely that the hum was caused by the lack of grounding on your power supply. If its a laptop, removing the charging adapter should improve the situation dramatically.

Spiun666 thanks for the tip... I use the laptop plugged in whenever I have a call, so that would not help me. The jabra and sennheiser headsets I use both do not have the problem.
