Can I just say how much I LOVE the fact that you include pricing in your videos?? 💜💜 That being said, I definitely think you are UNDERcharging on these! Especially if you do add a pen. Anything below $5.00 is highway robbery, because I would happily pay more for something like that if I weren’t crafty enough to make it. Thank you for the inspiration!
You always use such pretty colors. I'm glad you share pricing, that way buyers like myself know whether their getting a good deal or being ripped off, lol. So, thank you for that.
I love Love LOVE *L O V E* These!!! All of them are Beautiful!!! If I could've gone to your Craft Fair; I would've bought EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE!!! I know My Mom, Sister & Daughter would ADORE THESE AS A gift;!! & Of Course; I'd want to keep a few to myself! LOL! GOSH! I wish I could make things like this! LOL!
I stumbled on your videos while looking for Little Golden Book Junk Journals. You did not disappoint! I was so impressed that I checked out your entire, Craft Series 2022 videos. Honestly Girl, you are such an angel. Your ideas are unique and so easy to follow. Sometimes, I am amazed that I can still learn something new after years of crafting but yet I always learn something new from you. I also want to take this opportunity to let people know that people like Deanna who spend their valuable time teaching and sharing their knowledge are rare. Thank you, Deanna.
Deanna, these are beautiful! I think you should charge $5 each or two for $9. They are certainly worth it and so pretty to look at each day. Especially at work on the desk.
I have been watching Carla for about a year. I think RUclips suggested you after one of her videos. you are both so talented and such great teachers. I love watching both of you! This notebook is so useful and adorable
My mother used to say something akin to what you said about "Xmas." It's not as nefarious as you think, however. In Greek, the letter X is chi. Chi is the first letter of Christ in the Greek language: χριστού (christos)
Beautiful folios❤️ personally I wouldn’t price below $5 each. You probably most likely have roughly $2.50 in it. You could do $5 each or 2 for $9. I think that’s fair and I would definitely buy one😊 With whatever crafty item you make you break down your cost of what’s in it and double the price of that to cover your “labor of love”. 😊❤️
I have also made a few of these but what I do about the ribbon closure so it doesn't get lost. I attach it on either side after covering the covers and before adding the inside sheet, that way it is sandwiched and doesn't show. Really nice job of using pretty papers! Thanks for sharing!
Oh I love your folios! They are so easy to follow on how to make and so cute! That Christmas paper is beautiful! ❤❤❤ big hugs my friend! Happy crafting!
Canadian here, so I'd be doing $6-$7 CAD for those (mostly because supplies in Canada are more expensive). Very cute :) I have some 3x5 blank notepads from Staples.. I think I'm going to try this method for a few if my notepads. I've been doing double pockets (one on each side) and the right hand side holds the notepad. But, it is very time consuming, and I'm doing a kids Christmas sale this year (first time in 3 years it's happening, because of COVID), so the max I can charge is $6 per item. With your method, I think I can get away with $4 per notepad, as I have saved ALL of my chipboard from SU specialty papers. :) Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Deanna. I have always loved the way you decorate these notebooks! They look amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. Hope all is well. Glad to hear your husband got his cast off! Hopefully he is not in to much pain. 😀
I love these! Thanks for the tutorial…I agree with you, Christmas is about Christ not X…☺…I never know what to charge but I kind of hang around the $5 price point.
I have never seen this done before! Great project to do while watching a movie. But out of all the instructions you gave us, the MOST IMPORTANT piece was that you would NEVER use the "Merry Xmas" sticker. I'm with you, Girlfriend! I once saw a rooftop light display that said " KEEP CHRIST IN XMAS." Christ is not an X. He is the Reason fir the Season. Thank you for reminding us all.
I are ally enjoyed this video tutorial. Thank you for sharing your ideas. You have given me such inspiration ! Is it possible to find out what paper pack you used in this video? Thanks again!
Rule of thumb, don't give it below cost kiddo. your talent is far better then 4 or even 5. You do quality definitely not junk. Think 2 pieces of paper, chip is 1.25. DT is 1.25 so your 4.
I am making a taco tater tot casserole for dinner tonight. Instead of the potato tater tot's are use the sweet potato cauliflower tater tots by Green giant and it's really good.
@@CraftyCraftsByDeanna 1 pound ground beef 1 small onion, diced 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen Mexican-style corn 1 (12 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained 1 (12 ounce) bag shredded Mexican cheese blend 1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots 1 (12 fluid ounce) can enchilada sauce DirectionsInstructions Checklist Step 1 Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Step 2 Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until completely browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the onion, garlic, taco seasoning mix, frozen Mexican-style corn, and black beans to the ground beef; cook and stir another 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly. Step 3 Combine the ground beef mixture in a large bowl with about 3/4 of the Mexican cheese blend and the tater tots; stir to combine. Step 4 Pour about 1/3 of the enchilada sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add the tater tot mixture to the baking dish; lightly pat the mixture down into a solid, even layer. Pour the remaining enchilada sauce over the tater tot layer. Step 5 Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining Mexican cheese over the casserole and return to oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes more.
These are cute, just the right size too. I definitely would charge more than $4.00 for it. You've got your supplies in it, but don't forget your time as well. I would do at least $6.00, maybe 2 for 10. By the way, I'm so glad that you do not support anyone who says x-mas on their ads or supplies. I do not support them because Christ is Christmas!!!!!!! Thank you for saying so.
Whenever I try to make a notebook-style cover with chipboard my paper always cracks on the folds. Any suggestions? Not sure if I need different paper?? I score, I try to fold gently,....not sure why I can't get it to work??? Your notebooks are adorable! TFS.

Supplies are getting up there and then your time! Don’t sell yourself short!
You do beautiful work!

Great gift idea.
Love these. I need one of those for myself. I might have to make these for the ladies in my Sunday School class at church.

What thickness of chip board do you use? I was looking on Amazon and wasn’t sure which one would work best. Can’t wait to try this. Thanks for sharing
I usually use medium weight

I really like your notebook. When I make a similar notebook I charge $7.50 with a pen.
Thank you. No Xmas!
I have a very odd question for you where do you put everything when you getting ready for a Crafts
When is the craft fair you will will be selling at?
Whenever I try to make a notebook-style cover with chipboard my paper always cracks on the folds. Any suggestions? Not sure if I need different paper?? I score, I try to fold gently,....not sure why I can't get it to work??? Your notebooks are adorable! TFS.
I think it’s the paper!
Do you have a link for chipboard?
The X does stand for Christ. It’s a cool story!
I like Christ better than x. 😊
These are so cute. I don't like when people put X in Christmas. Drives me crazy.
Me too
What is the inside piece measurement?
Do these do well at fairs?
Yes for me they did
Beautiful paper! At least $4. With a pen maybe $5.
Thank you
Hey Deanna! I think you are selling yourself short! If you are going to add a pen I would charge at least $5. TFS Hugs!
$5. For these is a good price.
I’d charge $5
I was thinking $5
