thank you for dividing the boxing/wrestling games into their own category. I hate it when others make lists and randomly put those games with the fighting games.
You don't know how much I appreciate the inclusion of each games megabits. It really is a lost form of measurement where you pretty much have to be a detective to find out the megabits for each game.

Samurai Shodown de Mega é o melhor port do NEO GEO Eternal Champions excelente game cheio de fatalities, mas só ficou perfeito na sequencia para o SEGA CD Power Instinct do Mega tem a jogabilidade e o sistema de combos mais parecidos com a versão de Arcade. Uma pena terem feito um serviço porco graficamente e sonoramente Mighty Morphin Power Rangers bonzinho até da pra mandar uns combos massa até Pit Fighter do Mega Drive é a versão mais fiel ao Arcade. Mesmo os gráficos estarem simplificados, o som e a jogabilidade é IDENTICA! Sério, até os bugs do Arcade foram convertidos para o Mega. Jogão! Street Fighter II SCE melhor SF2 para os 16 BITS, música fiel a versão de Arcade (por utilizar um chip sonoro semelhante) e jogabilidade precisa. CAPCOM pecou nas vozes e nas paletas de cores que recentemente, foram consertadas por hackers Super Street Fighter II tem praticamente quase tudo do arcade, uma pena terem feito mais uma vez, porquisse nas paletas de cores e no audio vozes mais uma vez roucas e agora com a música toda em FM e PSG sem percussão PCM! Mais uma vez, um hacker consertou o driver de som desse game deixando o som e as vozes bem mais limpas. Basta procurar por Street Fighter II PCM driver fix e Super Street Fighter II PCM driver fix
Disse tudo, yuyu hakusho é classe, além d dar a possibilidade 4 players ao msm tempo, efeito de escala nos personagens, obra da Treasure. Westlemania Arcade, o Slam Masters e Fatal Fury 2 são excelentes versões com jogabilidade fantastica.

Cheaping out on cartridge size & ugly choice of colors really held both of those ports back because they have decent gameplay, just really lacking that full arcade style presentation.
Nothing compares to Mortal Kombat. Its' legacy endures and it's still going strong (Though I liked MK X on PS4 a lot less than MK on PS3) It was truly an original back then when it first came out on SEGA, The level of blood and gore, the finishing moves, the original characters (We all know each and everyone's name). They did have have few flops here and there but in my opinion the PS3 MK re-sparked the shit out of it.
Why didn't you include Heavy Nova? Despite the very short and monotonous platforming sections (which can be turned off in the options menu), it is a fighting game.
Weird, Capcom's SSF2 for Genesis was a bit disappointing in the sound department, specially when compared to Special Champion Edition. Virtua Fighter 2, if if also had Shun Di and Lion, it would have been a way better game.
When the game moved to CPS 2 it gained a sound style closer to what the Super Nintendo did. So this conversion was particularly complicated in the sound part.
@@CrudeDude I think the game has two problems, very high, uncontrollable jumps, and delayed response from the characters, which I think could be the result of the fact that they used same approach as in Flashback - when you want fluid and natural movements, you have this delayed response, you need time to get used to it in flashback and games like that (Prince of Persia) but after you get used to it, then you enjoy the game a lot, and it is a pleasure to look at it, but in the case of competitive game like fighting, when fast reaction snd responsevines is a priority, Flashbacklike approach really backfired against the gameplay, I wish somebody would take the assets and remake this game to finally do it a justice.

It's the same studio that did Flashback, Out of This World and Moto Racer. You can't understand how they could miss so badly in the gameplay.
