As always your vids are really insightful and have been following your channel for quite a while. I've just purchased an older WR450F with the ultimate intention of racing Rally Raids next year i.e. Hellas, Portugal, and Morocco
You know I'm used to work till late at night.....QCCR ehm.... hahaha can't wait for you to come over for some riding! Promise I will give you a bike with the magic start button :P
Hi Stefano, I did not change the piston throughout the race and still now I am still using the bike with the same piston, clutch etc from Dakar. Now the bike has approximately 10.000km
hi ! great videos. what about maintenance every day during rally. seems valve tuning need a set of "pastilles /coins" and pull out the camshaft too...?
Hi! never checked the valves throughout the race and had no shims with me. Generally if bike is brand new it can get through Dakar without the need to check the valves :)

Great video! 👏👏👏
Great video ! If you want reliability over performance, is the ktm or husqvarna a lesser bike than the yamaha? In 2018-2019 also? What do you think?
Cool video.....Great ideas...
Nice to have feedback about bikes and see how is after a dakar!
Have u changed piston during the race? And how many kilometres the bike has?

Hi Manuel, you say you prefer older models of WR450 because the motor is really strong. which year do you recommend?
Hi Manuel,
Sorry I didn’t understand what reinforced wheels did you put on your bike ?
Did you change the tripmaster? In one video it didn't look like RNS unit :)
Buen video!!! Saludos!! Suerte en la dakar!! Yeah!! 👍🏻 😎
I know it may be strange to ask but what do you do when nature calls during Dakar?
Ez. They stop it. Heheh
They have porta loo on check points....

Would you use same bike again on dakar?
