- OLD video from 2021. Sorry for random music. I didn't know how to edit in ambient sounds to over ride mall music back then. Lloyd Center is a shopping mall in the Lloyd District of Portland, Oregon, United States, just northeast of downtown. It is owned by Arrow Retail of Dallas. 4k Walk of Lloyd Center famous for it's ice skating rink and Tonya Harding.
I used to visit this mall from 2014 to 2019 from Beaverton through metro train (Blue line)
Mighty empty inside , YO YO YO WORLDSTAR outside 🤣. Used to be a premiere mall. Thsnks Oregon dems
8:42 - I remember going to that five guys when it was still open.
9:46 that place has been empty since 2014
Lloyd Center Mall is a True Landmark, It also used to be the Largest in the Country. It’s so Sad Sight, All Big Anchors Stores are Currently Gone. Hopefully the Entire Mall doesn’t Permanently Close for a Major Demolition.
8:43 that place has been empty since 2004.
It doesn’t look anything like I remember. Was it remodeled?
Abandoned
Food Court is Also Almost Gone, There’s only 2 Choices Left either Chicken Connection & Dairy Queen
Wtf is a chicken connection?!?
@@thebluetarp Chicken Connection is a Chinese Food
I think the mall started to go down when the max stop was built in the park across the street. Too easy for bad people to come and go.
The MAX opened in 1986 and didn't see a substantial increase in crime as a result. Crime has been increasing in Portland everywhere including the Clackamas town center which also has a MAX station.
Washington Square is the Only Mall that doesn’t have a MAX Station but it’s 30 Minutes Away to WES on Hall @ Nimbus Station.
Nope. Worked there .
That max stop was safe and played music . Vivaldi " four seasons ". Then 2020 blm and Antifa happened. Drugs got decriminalization. And the bottom drops out
MLB Ball Stadium is being Propose, This Mall may Close Down for Good. We hope Not. Although there has been so many Crimes.
Keep dreaming for MLB in Portland . No one wants to play ball here in this shithole. Even concerts are being rerouted to Seattle
