We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.

#2 When my wife was a teacher in the Cebu area, she ws quite a dancer. There is one video of her dancing with the candle on her head and one in each hand.
( candles are in little glass jars ) a test of balance and graceful movements.
This is the first time learning that your wife was a teacher. That is great 😊
I was born and raised in Tiaong, Quezon and I’ve never been to that part of Villa/Hacienda Escudero. I’ve been to the museum though. Have a great time in the Philippines 😊
Brooklyn clapping with her straight face always cracks me up 😂
You never fail to amaze me with your videos thanks for sharing them ❤
I'm a filipina left PI 2004 because of petition thru parents and now living in the US for 20 years and for good. But while watching your videos exploring Philippines made me excited to explore Philippines as well and again. I can't wait to visit the Philippines with its new development especially beautiful vacation places to go that I haven't been to. Happy for your family to have knowledge and experience of our culture... love love love mangoes in the Philippines compared to what we have here in the US. More power to your vlog and adventure!
There is so much to explore here. Even with all the destinations we've visited, there are still so many more places for us to go. Thanks for watching us!

2. San Juan, La Union - Surfing
3. Subic - Old US Military base
4. Batangas - Stilts in Calatagan, Diving in Anilao,
5. Puerto Galera, Mindoro

Thank you! 🤗 hello in Germany
Thank you! 🤗 hello in Germany
I visited villa escudero in 1992 and i love the experience ❤
It’s such a great property and experience
Phil and Erin, I recommend you develop a resort, with a replica of different National representations. Like Philippine National fruit (mangga), national leaf (anahaw), national tree(narra), national bird (Phillipne eagle), or Pambansang Kama o or National Feast (Manny Paquiao) and so on. You can research it. It's like making a unique new kind of resort, a lot will love and enjoy it for sure. Nothing compares it, you try.
Have you been to Baguio? if not I recommend you to visit Baguio specially month of Jan to April, you can feel the cold weather specially during night time. I love your videos, beautiful scenery. Amazing
We haven’t yet and we definitely plan to go
@@livethephilippines go during strawberry season!! baguio is known for their awesome strawberries :)
Nice vlog. I can't wait for siquijor. I miss going back there
It's such a nice place.
I hope you can also consider a room like a capsules type of room for individual travellers or backpackers on your upcoming resort.
We’ll definitely consider it 👍🏻 as things go.
ah, must be nice to go around the country. enjoy guys!
while I sit my ass working in the bay area lol
I cant wait to see your next episode island adventure you guys. Keep more exploring the beautiful island of the philippines. Enjoy and keep safe always.
Thanks! 🤗 we have so much to look forward to.
"Have you ever explored the northern regions like Bolinao in Pangasinan and the Hundred Islands? There’s so much to see and enjoy, from breathtaking natural landscapes to unique outdoor activities."
The SRRV visa requires a deposit of $20,000 or $10,000 if you have a minimum $800 a month pension . There is also a visa for US military veterans over 50. It requires a $1,500 deposit .
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Phil and Erin, there is a private resort nearby in Quezon province called Balesin Island. It used to be a private resort but I heard that it has now been open to the public. Ask the honchos from Villa Escudero how you can get in. It is a place you must visit.
Thanks for letting us know :)
OMG! Ist it really open to the public now or do you still have to have connections to get there. That is one very exclusive island indeed, along with AMANPULO, I am still dreaming of going there!
Yes, definitely please open up the hotel because I will be your first guess can’t wait. 😊
With all the experience and knowledge that you guys have from Traveling, I am pretty sure that hotel is going to be something spectacular.
Thank you! We are excited to see how it all pans out. We can’t wait to have you stay with us 🤗
I found my new favorite family vlogs. Enjoyyy
Yay! So happy you found us :)
I'm eagerly anticipating your Siquijor episode, as it's my home island and I've noticed so many changes since I left for California; every time I return for vacation, it feels like the island gets more crowded. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your visit and take the time to explore the local resorts amidst the bustling tourist spots!
We can’t wait to experience Siquijor! But we have postponed our trip until January. We want to make sure we have the proper time to be there.
You should check out Caramoan Island. Pristine waters and picturesque surroundings. A season of Survivor was filmed there, in fact.
On the way there, you can also see Mount Mayon. It is a well-known volcano because of its perfectly formed cone.
Nice! We'll check it out. Sounds like it's in the Bicol region? We love that area
erin's tan looks so good on her!!
Thanks!!
So good your blog is very adventures, the place and the food u very like the filipino food, good environment and filipino culture. keep it up😊
Thank you so much 😁
Boutique resort! Lets go!
Let's gooooo
You can actually visit hot and cold springs in Laguna or try „the Farm“
Good to know 👍🏻😊
With Phils military background, I would really happy to see a full on tour of Corregidor Island, which is probably one of the most important places of military history of both USA and the Philippines.. The boats start from the Esplanade Seaside Terminal next to the Mall of Asia..
Maybe not the most interesting stuff for the Erin and Brooklyn - BUT for Phil and Colt! Because I also know for a fact that the island is full of lizards.. They love those old buildings! For example the blue-tongued lizard, which is quite rare I think :)
Yes! I’ve been telling Phil about Corregidor Island. We’d love to visit.
The Corregidor tour was my favorite tour in the Philippines. It’s very interesting if you like WWII history .
Subscribed done enjoy
Awesome 🤗 thanks!
Thanks for a nice video im enyoing watching
Glad you enjoyed :)
Ligaya means happy, but when you say you're happy, you say you're "maligaya"
Thanks for teaching us this :)
Wohoo... our favorite family the lockwoods. Do an upcoming north luzon road trip probably on february and also visit star city and enchanted kingdom
Yes! It’s on our list. We have so much coming up the next two months. But January and February would be a great time for us to go up north.
Nice❤
Thanks :)
Cant wait for your next island trips.. take care and enjoy ABC Fam! ❤❤
Us too 😊 we have so much to look forward to
So happy for you guys. I've convinced my American friends to come retire in the Philippines too. I hope things work out and we get to stay at your resort once it's built.
Much love from Australia.✌
Awesome! We hope you do end up visiting once we have it up and going.
Tell your friends to look up Iloilo City...great provincial vibes with very modern sensibilities and facilities!!
I really love this family!!! Ive watched all ur videos guysss... love u colt muahhh...watching from bacolod city...
Hello in Bacolod 👋
@@livethephilippines Colt I have subscribed to your channel, Bud.
Smart move for putting the guy's face on TV 😂 👍
Everything went perfectly 😊
I highly recommend going to Baguio and go to igirot kingdom and try their famous strawberry taho and strawberry jam
Yes! That’s a place high on our list that we hope to go to this Jan or Feb. hopefully for the festival
I'm glad you took a video of that courier taking your passports. Just in case !
It was all smooth and easy :) We got them back later that day with no issues
@@livethephilippines I think you should build a resort in Palawan ! Lots of Land!
I remember going there years ago. I can’t remember everything except for riding on the carabao drawn carriage like by Ligaya and the food by the waterfall. Ohh, ,memories.
Also I’m, Wondering, are the kids missing school? From Diego, CA.
Great memories for us too :) The kids do online school. We love the program they have! followabc.com/school
My family and i were there in 1992. Villa escudero is a beautiful place. Glad you guys enjoyed your day trip there. Have you thought about exploring the northern part of the philippines?
Yes, we love the idea of a long roadtrip north
Loved this family😊fantastic video and places ❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
I really enjoyed watching your videos! very informative and genuine ❤
Awesome. So happy you like them :)
Can you please make a video of NAIA termjnal Airport under the new management, would love to know what are the changes they have made & implemented, your channel is great source of info since you fly a lot 😊

Put a suggestion to you guys 3 weeks ago. Glad you checked on the SIRV
Yeah, we're looking into all options :) thanks!
Manila ocean park
Fort Santiago and Intramuros
Your daughter is low key & doesn't't say much compared to your son😊Enjoy.
She is less inclined to participate most days. But the important thing is that participation is her choice 😊
Thanks for sharing your visit to Villa Escudero. Last time we visited the country, we missed out on this location. We'll definitely put it in our list of places to visit. Cheers from Cali!
You should!
Boutique hotel resort is ok ,stay safe !
Thanks!
Rice is Life in the Philippines, you can even have rice by itself and you will feel full.
You're right. Very filling :)
I love your vlog make me miss my country thank you!😍🇺🇸🇵🇭 last time I was in villa escodero was 2004 before my father died😢
You should visit again. It's a great day trip :) Sorry to hear about your dad passing

Yessss to a boutique hotel/resort 🩵
Working on it! :)
Flights are airplanes and transportation is by car or by carabao by tricycle or any transportation by land escuedero is a Spanish name and their home is like a church
I’ll go with you coz I haven’t been there
My husbands dream is also to run a small boutique resort in my home country. Hopefully one day, we love Siquijor Island for our boutique resort. A gem for snorkelers like us. While close to my hometown.
It’s a beautiful dream. We can’t wait to go to Siquijor!
you must try Hidden valley resort in Calauan Laguna. I can say it is much better than Villa Escudero. It is 1hr before villa escudero.
Im super excited to find out where you gonna build your boutique resort or hotel. Ill stay there for sure when its ready , all the best ,God bless 🙌🙏
We’re excited to know that as well. We are going to a number of areas to see if they will be the islander area we choose. 🤗
@@livethephilippines there's soooo many to choose from for sure but you mentioned before that one criteria is where there is a good hospital nearby. I'm not so familiar with my own country as I've lived abroad most of my life but I've heard about Davao and Iloilo for having great hospitals. My friend from Davao says that food there is so cheap in their wet markets.
Fil-Am, watching from Calfornia. Cole is hilarrious. We got like 5 Amber Alert! 3:38 I was like, omg that is something very serious! 😂😂😂😂
I know! 😆 🤣😅
❤❤❤
🤗🤗😊
Ok for ur boutique 😊
Yay! We’re working on it 🤗
I already saw this episode 😂
It was first aired on Always Be Changing but we wanted this content to live on this channel too.
You're very near in Hidden Spring Valley resort. It's a natural spring. Hope you can visit,
I just looked that place up. Looks so beautiful
@@livethephilippines yes it is! Another one is “The farm at San Benito”
Try the batanes❤❤
Are you guys gonna be in BGC this december? I’m hoping to see you guys on my holidays❤❤
Yes, we should be here end of December
You may want to try the upside down museum where everything is upside down.....litetally.its along roxas blvd or maybe inside ccp complex
Cool! 😎 well look it up
Thank you for choosing Philippines as your second home. But my only comment is about your passport which you give to a guy. I hope he is realible and trust worthy one.
It worked out so great and easy. Everything went smoothly :)
Try to spend xmas and new year in the Philippines then visit Pampanga (xmas capital of the philippines) Visit Batanes islands and Ilocos region (Vigan city - unesco world & tagged as little spain)
Province of Quezon I haven’t been there
Nice ❤

*Mom remembers someone stole her mangoes at that time girl! very savage moment.
visit Batanes
When will you hangout with MomDuty?
Flights are airplanes and transportation is by car or by carabao by tricycle or any transportation by land
husband speaking Wow giving all 4 of your passports to a stranger has got to whirl your tummy at least a little bit.
It does when we have to send it through the mail. But this service actually felt really easy and no nerves handing our passports over. When we have to send them in the mail my tummy is turning until we get them back.
Try wearing Filipiñana Erin!
I did actually wear one for an event a few months ago.
Hello i watch all your vlogs ,is this your channel now? Not always be changing? 🤔
Thanks for watching us! We still have Always Be. Hanging but we feature international travel there. This channel is for our PH lives and travel.
This hacienda area 50 hectares I guess!?
It's a big property :)
Camiguin Island
We’re so excited! 🤗
Yey, time to explore Mindanao, Camiguin is one of my fave islands, enjoy! Hope you guys visit Davao and Bukidnon too
NAME OF YOUR SHOP.FRIENDLY FAMILY LIVING IN A FRIENDLY COUNTRY😂😂😂..
I would not trust anyone with my passports.
Hi 👋 thanks for watching us. We have both channels. Always Be Changing is for international travel and Live The Philippines is for our life and travels through the Philippines 🇵🇭
5 amber alert. Lol.
😂🤣😂🤣
Maybe it's time you learn how to cook Filipino foods?
I mean… You couldn’t even renew your own visas?
If there’s a service to save your time and you’re a busy vlogger why spend time doing that???
@@Plant_Traced “A busy vlogger”… cmon. They want to open a resort here and constantly talk about how they’re just normal people… But haven’t even renewed a tourist visa a single time. Before I was married, I have renewed visas quite a bit. It’s not that big of a deal. Baguio was the fastest but the office at SM Aura isn’t bad either.
I’ve said this a bunch… I actually really like this family. But they can be quite fake and try to act like they don’t have a ton of money, even by US standards. They could have very easily made content surrounding the renewal process for their visa, but even the minor inconvenience of them going to immigration was bypassed.
@@stevem437might have been a simple schedule conflict since they were traveling 100 clicks away? Why so critical? As people who have renewed our Visas…you know immigration would have no part of filming the process.
@@Plant_Traced A schedule conflict? For an entire month?
Erin mispronounced Caraboa and made it sound like Caribou…which are totally different but that’s endearing and funny!
