  • Welcome to my 2023 NOBO Appalachian Trail Thru Hike!
First, let’s review my one request for viewers: negativity, shaming, bullying etc will NOT be tolerated in the comments, towards me or anyone else, so if you can’t be kind, be quiet, or you may find yourself blocked.
ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN! Subscribe now and follow along as I hike 2198 miles from Georgia to Maine and become a Triple Crowner! You can also find more of my trail updates on Instagram: @ms_rebecca_ann
I’m still partnered up with ‪@HyperliteMountainGear‬ as an ambassador so if you want to take advantage of 15% off your order, use “BECCA15” at checkout! They have a lot of great new gear, like the Unbound 40L pack I have with me on the AT, and they just released a 55L for those longer hauls.
For anyone interested in being a Trail Angel from afar and providing Trail Magic, any amount is ALWAYS appreciated, so if you’d like to buy me a cider in town or help with a resupply, my Venmo handle is @bergstromra
Thank you so much for watching and supporting. These videos are my way of journaling so I can watch them later and relive the adventure, but my hope with sharing them publicly is that they’ll spark inspiration within you to get outdoors and/or follow your passion. We’re only given one life and it’s meant to be lived, get out there and live it!

I'm a new subscriber and Love your AT videos. Congratulations on 100! I found you because I follow The Donald Outdoors who's on the AT now and your RUclips popped up. THANK YOU for all the amazing views. My husband and I have traveled all over our beautiful country visiting many national parks and vistas, usually in a van. I'm not able to do trails as I'm in a wheelchair. But bless my husband, he pushes me wherever he can, haha. I am very thankful for accessible trails, roads, and others that are available- Hwy 1, Beartooth Hwy, Blue Ridge Parkway, and so many more! THANK YOU again for the beautiful views and sunrises I would never be able to see without your videos. Blessings to you as your adventure continues.

You're silk blazing. Trekking poles work very well in catching the webs before they engulf your face. You're making real good mileage. Hope you had a good night. Looked like a great place to camp. Take care Becca and stay safe.

Beautiful section of trail. About the infamous sign, it is supposed to read swinging lick gap from what I have read. But it keeps being changed by people.

A trekking pole wielded like a sword in front of you when breaking trail will keep most of the webs out of your face. I never used poles but I always picked up a stick to clear the webs when leading off in the morning.

Actually the spider webs mean that nobody has passed thru there in the last 30 minutes--they can re-web that fast. Good job keep your great attitude!

Also road is close to Clingmans dome and people do drive up Mt. Washington... Good times

I heard you say,”again no one is here”. If you are doing 15-20miles per day with few or no zeros. You will catch the bubble soon enough. Their are several bubbles but the last bubble departed around 1st of April so you are not that far behind. I think you are walking pretty fast by the videos. It looks like you are flying as you video down the trail. Enjoying your videos. Keep on walkin. You will run into people soon enough and start your own trail fam.
