About 3 years ago I heard Steve Stricker saying he grips the putter extremely tight (8 out of 10) with his left hand only. I tried it and my putting has become a lot more consistent since.
ben crenshaw (considered the best putter ever) as well as tiger both hold so loose to them it feels like they're barely hanging on to feel the weight of the putter head. Different strokes for different folks.
Great stuff! Who doesn't want a lesson on putting from Cam? I've always used a soft grip, but I'm a horrible putter so I'm gonna try Cam's way. Would love to see how he reads greens.
These instructional videos are top-notch, and hopefully bring more people to play the game, to try and emulate these players. Only thing to mention is that his right thumb is not straight down the grip, it's across from his right to left.
Cam Smith is one of my favorite golfers. If he can get full control over his drives, there will be few golfers on the planet that can beat him. I think he should check out Moe Norman's swing and talk to Bryson about that single plane swing. Moe Norman was probably the best ball striker of all time, if not the top then right at the very top with the world's greatest golfers.
There’s no doubt. He is so good, but his driver is sometimes so sporadic. If he could get that under control, he really could go on an unbeatable streak.

People who are serious about their game should watch these lesson videos on repeat as often as they play the game. Seriously!

That finger point system that takes a half hour per read
@@pigs6486 he doesn't use that part of aim point often. He just stands over the line at various points for foot pressure/ slope reading

Moe normans swing was only special to him. It won’t work out for him. Stop glazing over moe. Dude was trash on the tour.

How wide should the feet be apart?

It's easy to follow those 4 steps he uses but they are no good if you can't read the speed or the slope properly, he didn't mention how he does that?
Does anyone know a putter grip you can buy that’s the same width and shape as the Baby Black T?
