Sure! Put your keylight closer to you and a bit higher. The steeper the angle of the light compared to the camera, the less glare you should have on your glasses 😊

Hey man! I liked it! I would probably try not doing an intro that I super similar to Hillier, that almost made me think it was a copycat. But aside from that and what’s already been said, looks awesome! New sub for sure.

@@VogelVlugEN Hey no worries! I thought that might be the case. And even looking back I think maybe it's a combination Ed and Hillier? Idk. But the rest of your video was so unique, I think you could easily stick out just by having a unique intro, you're in my opinion way better than most of the mid level creators out there in terms of getting stuff out of the video to take home and use. Second set of eyes always helps I feel, but also I know I'm just a guy on the internet lol. Just trying to give feedback I know I would want on my stuff, not trying to roast at all. Keep up the great videos man!
Yes, your Feedback is definitely welcome! I didnt read it as a roast, so all good :D But yeah, my Content is definitely inspired by Ed, Hillier but also for example Think Media and I‘m definitely still in the process of finding my own style. (And I dont know if that process ever really ends, lol)
Thanks for this video! And good luck on the RUclips journey!!! One quick point I'd like to make about all the how-to editing for RUclips videos. Doesn't it all have to do also with the demographics of your audience? An older audience, for example, might have a really hard time following this cut-every-3-seconds editing style clearly aimed towards mostly younger viewers and their attention spans.
Yes, definitely! The target audience is definitely a huge factor aswell! Some principles are true regardless of the target audience though (such as "show don't tell"), but the way how you execute them should be targeted.

Casey also has quite a bunch of product reviews on his channel :D So its definitely possible to also wrap good storytelling around a review. I understand that is os quite complicated though 😬😅

These are the exact points and even words used in Film Booths dissection of Neistat's (and other RUclipsrs) editing techniques. Not accusing or anything, but it's easy to cross the line to looking like another video 😅
The very first part of my bit about text on screen (so 1:52 - 2:00) was definitely inspired by the video of Film Booth you are referring to, yes :D

Hm, well yes, this might contribute to his fame, but I still think that his way of story telling has a much bigger impact on his success, than simply that he was one of the first :D
I'm afraid to have to tell you that the best camera is often the one you left at home. The one you have with you might be a very bad compromise.
Still better to use the compromise than not to shoot anything at all!
