I been wanting to make brushes like this in PS! I used mostly Illustrator to make my scatter brushes for pearls and stuff and I love the coloring idea you have. It is the amazing things you make that make me follow you religiously.
I loved this tutorial, so easy to follow along with. I have already made my diamond brushes- now I'm hooked on making others like it. Can you please do a tutorial on making chain brushes?

this is really helpful but I have a question why diamonds are looking blur when I zoom a little? Am I doing anything wrong?
Check the quality of the original image. You can use sharpen filters to help bring up the clarity before turning it into a brush as well.

Work through different blend modes and watch toward the end of the video I show you how to fix this for dark backgrounds
