very interesting. if you read report it seems that guy is full of horseshit.
1. No crew coordination took place when making decision to return.
2. The technical problem was not addressed first (level 1 warning), but rather a rush decision was made to return.
3. They didn't complete any assessment of the situation, because the decision to return was made much before.
4. There was no approach briefing.
5. They performed a visual approach even though ATC radar vectors for ILS would have reduced the workload a lot.
6. Captain was concerned of the failure of the other engine as well - unlikely to happen with this sort of failure.
7. The visual approach was completely unstabilized from the beginning until the end (operating engine at idle thrust the whole time), partly due to the fact they elected to use runway with higher approach angle and flaps 3 instead of FULL.
8. APU start was not performed correctly and inhibited display of WHEEL page.
9. Ground spoilers didn't deploy because procedure was not followed. Thrust reverser deployment was delayed as well.
10. They landed without ATC clearance.
11. Cabin crew had NO IDEA what was going on, as they were not informed.
12. They rushed to the airport, yet no PAN/MAYDAY was declared.

pilots should speak about the chem trails too, if they know anything...I suppose that clouds trigger is not in the plain but any way who is driving counts too
