Jordan Edmunds When I hear this song I imagine things too literally. Like I’m literally on a landscape I’d never seen and out of nowhere a giant woman appears.
Such an epic opening song to a brilliant album. Really wish they properly kept going after this :( The music world really needs more bands like this, and Jet etc
@@RollingCalf yeah that is how you get a band together, you get 4 or 5 guys or even a trio and start a band and make a record, they maybe Andrew's songs but it's still wolfmother, not andrew and wolfmother.

This band is cool…originally I checked them out cuz the girl I like told me to, but I could seriously get into them. They sound kinda like Alice in Chains.
This is a really powerful track. I grew up listening to these songs and they inspired me so much. I have fond memories of listening to this one on my way to exams which I failed.
Wolfmother is one of my favorite bands. Rock the way it is supposed to be...Power Chords, Power Vocals...very visceral sound.
Yeah, but they have nothing on Swedish bands like Witchcraft (early), Troubled Horse and Graveyard
Well said
When I read this first saw “favorite books”, expecting a joke. Needless to say, I was sadly disappointed
This song makes me feel like a majestic sea captain, gazing the oceans to discover new land
I get that same feel
Couldn't have said it better myself
can i buy some of those drugs your on, please and thankyou.
KCRskidder it's called acid

One of the greatest albums i have ever heard, i remember listening to this when it came out, loved it, still do.
I love this Aussie band
Wolfmother is like the perfect hybrid band of The Doors, Black Sabbath, the beatles, Pink Floyd, and Zeppelin.
A deep purple

Great song. Great album. Great album cover. one of the best Frank Frazetta paintings.
Favorite Wolfmother track - reminds me of freshman year at college
Reminds me of early Black Sabbath...and thats a damn good thing to be reminded of.
RIP Sabbath 1970-2017
True. And also shades of Led Zep and Yes. A hell of a pedigree
Thought it really was for a bit there.
It's crazy to hear Ozzy in his garage days cause his voice was way higher it seemed
I could listen to this band all day - nice riffs.
goddamn... first time hearing this song.... fucking awesome.
had to hear it a second time before i put together this consensus: Yes.
Im midway going through the comments:
These kids know music.

@@RollingCalf it's still a band dude, I saw them in Perth in 2014 and it was a great show.
@@dyr234 the vocalists just hired people to play but he writes all the music.

3:31 - 4:02 reminds me of Bastille Day by Rush.
LOVE THIS BAND! possibly the only present day rock band Ill listen to.
Merry Christmas from Houston!

Sometimes you just need to enjoy the funny sayings, not analyze them ;) But yeah, you're right.
I was actually just thinking this exact same thing today.

I think it's "though is she ever gonna notice me?"
4:00 sounds very similar to The invisible guest by King Diamond. (too close maybe) Anyone else notice this?
I'm going to have a listen to it now. Thanks for the new band I've never heard too!
This band is cool…originally I checked them out cuz the girl I like told me to, but I could seriously get into them. They sound kinda like Alice in Chains.
Alice in chains? No they don't haha!
Not Alice in Chains at all. They sound like Zeppelin.
ImmortalityGames Yeah they sound fuck all like alice in chains,
Not really like Zeppelin. More like Rush + Sabbath
Sound like Wolfmother to me... and you better lay down and suckle.
Full auto 2 battlelines brought me here
Would be cool to see Wolfmother and Gretta Van Fleet together.
I totally agree!
Them and acdc
TheLogical Lowdown damn bro I love you for saying that
where are they now?
This is this....
I think of dark souls too this song
@KezumiCreative ofcourse System Of A Down would be even above Foo Fighters if they were stil togheter (or will be together again)

@iLiKePiEgUy25 i agree :D *kicks chicken* i love wolfmother and this song :D apparently kicking imaginary chickens is fun too lol
Fair comment, but to be honest I never got the impression many people listen to their earlier stuff. But maybe I shouldn't only go by people I know
I enjoy this music.
You my insignificant minions may feel free to listen to it at your leisure.
Comment stolen from me, but mimicry is the greatest form of flattery, so carry on.
aah, I once heard something very similar... I don't remember their name... I think they were known as Med... Bed... Zoppin... Zippin... led zipping...
@riottto its stoner rock man. even something which is not about drugs will eventualy talk about drugs lol

?(the song I mean)
@stessaz1
"bob marley and many other rock and heavy metal bands" I think you should rethink what rock is if you think bob marley is metal or rock.
Mike Patton said this band sucks.????......Mr Bungle....Need I say more??????
came here because of Full Auto 2 Battlelines
"The first Dinosaur!! Colossal god!"
@GoGoNards the other 3 are fake users that he created

2K laundry
Listen to AC/DC's Whole Lotta Rosie
This
is this about thicc
a good band in THIS generation?! IMPOSSIBRU!
Surprising I know
Wolfmother is not as fruitful in terms of creativity as they used to be.
Who can tell me which past bandmembers need to reunite for an epic album?
@TheRealEryk you jelly bro?
>_> dont judge me but this reminds me of attack on titan for some reason
I'd say drugs had something to do with it lol
@GoGoNards Mike Patton kinda sucks, really
listen close as hell and at the end a dude says you're all insane :D
Full auto 2 gang
Arena Bash with Sidewinder
Great song for the most part but that ending is not fitting
this is so fuckin stoner!!!!!!!
This is a really powerful track. I grew up listening to these songs and they inspired me so much. I have fond memories of listening to this one on my way to exams which I failed.
