Spiderman Stretch For Surfers

  • In this stretch, we're not aiming to be overly flexible but to activate key muscle groups. Here's how to do it right:
    1️⃣ Keep your supporting arm's shoulder stacked and in external rotation-don't let it jut forward.
    2️⃣ Align your hips directly underneath you; no kicking them out.
    3️⃣ The front knee should reach forward at a 45° angle, while the back heel stretches backward.
    4️⃣ Focus on creating length through the arms and spine. You can also pivot your head to stretch your neck.
    Remember, it's all about controlled breathing and finding length. This stretch helps you maintain stability and flexibility, perfect for your next surf session. Make sure to do both sides for balance!
