Thanks Mate, yes he is a special fish that one, It was such a great trip, fishing, mountain biking, camping out, larger rivers, smaller waterways, spring creeks and still waters, just epic, a NZ backcountry mission is currently in the production room 😆

That was gold that ending, persistence with fly changes and that one more cast brings you the chocolates, 7½ lb later. What a stonker of a fish. That's a "Good Brown" "Good Brown" Great way to cap off a brilliant trip..

We have not done too many, our time frames when we were able to get away have not lined up, have a trip sorted for seasons end tho
