Chasing Russian subs and other ships for six years, I can truthfully say, this wasn't a surprise. Our ships knew the sub was there, the surprise may have been that it surfaced.
There is a good reason why the US called the Akula class subs "the black hole". All the western bluff and bluster about western technical superiority is just that, nothing more and nothing less. Only a few weeks ago the US was seriously annoyed by a Russian sub that was cruising around their coastline, surfacing now and again to make their presence known and than vanish into thin air, leaving the US clueless of where it went. Russian sub-marines are on par, if not better than the west has on offer and more importantly they are armed to the teeth with modern weapons. Pretty soon most of them will be armed with hypersonic missiles for which the west still has (admittedly) no defense.
Don’t concern yourself. The three superpowers are going to encounter each other at sea. It’s common, even back during Cold War 1. I was a minor participant at sea back then. Good to have an enemy out there. Keeps you sharp.
@LanceBailey-iu9vo there isn't 3 superpowers. Sorry, by definition, russia doesn't meet criteria since fall of USSR and China still shy of certain things. It isn't all just based on military might, part of it is to be able to exert that might globally (this does not mean ICBMs)
I never had the opportunity to be in the Royal Navy but I agree with Michael, it's always been the case of the Russians having a nosey from time to time and nothing worry about. I'm sure we can watch more of them than the other way round
It may have followed the carrier, but not close enough to have anything on it but sonar/radar etc. If they were any closer the AC and it's battle group knew they were there, knew thier intentions weren't hostile
No it wasn't ,seriously enough with the dk measuring contest we are a has been washed out dying empire being silently bread out of existence and invaded most are to stupid to realize not a single shot will be fired for our down fall . 😂
"Unexpectedly surfaced"? They knew it was there this is a lie. Our carrier groups contain subs as well. Even the video said they saw it coming. This is trash, I'm out.
It would seem that the only possibility left to explore is go deep with manned deep, very deep submersible craft, unlike the ill fated one that went to explore the Titanic wreck.
in new world era tech nobody can say we are so powerfull army somebody can easy learn tech and built same tech what we haved we all must respected human being right we dont own this world a God give all same lives what we was feel today dont hurt anybody we must educate ourself don't make ourselves arrogant people and like to brag about what we have and given for all nation their rights and live together in freedom worldwide nations
The public would be shocked if they knew how close we followed a Russian nuclear submarine to the coast of Southern California and how close the Russians tested us in North Korea during the USS Pueblo incident.
Drone carreir, drones preprogramed and firewalled. Carrer is as small and chep as possabile. Options for what drones do. They come back to careir. Visuail sound magnetic all discernabile at a distance small enough. A few radar detectors on the sea floor.
the Russian population is starving, and the entire economy goes to the military 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 According to a recently published UNICEF report based on data from 22 countries, the effects of the war on children in Russia and Ukraine are particularly severe. According to the report, Russia accounts for three quarters of the increase in children living in poverty. The number of children affected by poverty rose by 2.8 million as a result of the war. The poorer a family is, the greater the share of its income it has to spend on food and fuel, the study also states. But if the costs of these goods rise sharply - which they are doing as a result of Western sanctions - there is less money left for other needs such as health care and children's education. Here, children growing up in remote rural areas are particularly at risk. In rural areas, state structures are partially collapsing. Schools are being closed, social services and the police are being disbanded due to financial problems. Siberia is badly affected by this. There are also many children and young people in the region who grow up in families at risk, i.e. without parental care or in an environment characterized by violence, alcohol, drugs and prostitution. The children often develop behavioral problems and often lack social skills. As a result, they are excluded and discriminated against at school. There are neither educational models nor sufficiently qualified teachers to work effectively with emotionally traumatized children. Caritas International and its partner organizations look after children from impoverished and socially disadvantaged families. In addition to children from difficult living conditions, the Caritas West Siberia centers also look after 60 children from families with a migration background who are not attending school or cannot follow school lessons due to a lack of Russian language skills and are discriminated against by both teachers and schoolmates. The living conditions of these families are just as precarious as those of poor Russian families.
@@vdjdjgdhdhd9429 According to the latest Credit Suisse ranking for 2022, one percent of the population in Russia owns 58.6 percent of the wealth, while almost half of Russians can barely buy food and clothing with their income. Almost two-thirds of all Russian households (63.5 percent) are unable to purchase durable consumer goods such as a new computer or washing machine, even the Moscow Times emphasized in 2019, citing an analysis by the Russian statistics office Rosstat. But the social divide into winners and losers of modernization is not necessarily visible everywhere. Many old, sick or young and destitute people live behind private walls or in remote regions. One example is the satellite towns in Siberia. It must be assumed that poverty is much more widespread there than in the European part of Russia. The rural areas of Siberia are completely disconnected from the country's economic development. The residents are barely able to cover their basic needs. Pensioners, families with many children and those with very low incomes are particularly at risk of poverty. All of them receive little to no help from the state.

Idk wtf is wrong with the young generation and thinking russia can take the USA but you're sadly sadly wrong let it be known if russia were to try anything stupid and I mean anything they wouldn't find the remains js have a nice day now!
They have always followed our carriers. Hell they had trawlers followed us when I was in. Made us do an emergency break away
So … what in the hell happened? How did it resolve?
Chasing Russian subs and other ships for six years, I can truthfully say, this wasn't a surprise. Our ships knew the sub was there, the surprise may have been that it surfaced.
War games this is how you get better by practice.
We have long held the best sonar but there is no reason to think that the Russians haven’t quieted down their subs.
Noise is only one part of the equation

The US will release it’s fleet of Tic-Tacs
Sounds like Putin is trying to put Donald Trump back in office.😂
Why Putin? It's American voters' decision.
I never had the opportunity to be in the Royal Navy but I agree with Michael, it's always been the case of the Russians having a nosey from time to time and nothing worry about. I'm sure we can watch more of them than the other way round
A ty si fakt myslíš, že Rusko nevie o západných ponorkách nič a nesleduje ich? Opäť další , čo má dojem ,že vyberajú čipi chladničiek a práčok.😵💫😅👋
Ok! Right On Go Army!😍
I have reason to believe the Russian submarine was being followed by at least one of ours.
Absolutely, what are we supposed to do sink it? BTW I'm unsubscribing from this pro Russian channel.
lol they crazy we are always following them. They the stupid ones 🫵🏽😭
It was absolutely being shadowed by ours
Bye Felicia @georgeperillo6421
I agree
You have my support
Foreign vessel not allowed to get closer.
It may have followed the carrier, but not close enough to have anything on it but sonar/radar etc. If they were any closer the AC and it's battle group knew they were there, knew thier intentions weren't hostile
Nice
You can bet it was followed by a American submarine !

Yep.
When did this happen, where and whats the source
Also the Coast Guard. Live off the Pacific Coast. Living near the grave yard of the pacific, more aware.
It’s dangerous for the submarine.

Right On Go Army!
You do realize that they are talking about the navy not the army?
Confirmation
Так делается всегда. О чем новость. Обычно флот США это не видит
So what happened?
A lot to think about.
Blay blay blay
It would seem that the only possibility left to explore is go deep with manned deep, very deep submersible craft, unlike the ill fated one that went to explore the Titanic wreck.
Go.give them VODKA .
Russians had probably ran out of food or water. That has happened before.

A lot of the same tracking is done by satellites that have high power radar and magnetic sensors, and who knows what else.
Two global powers….SUA AND ….WHO???
The public would be shocked if they knew how close we followed a Russian nuclear submarine to the coast of Southern California and how close the Russians tested us in North Korea during the USS Pueblo incident.

The US Navy knew exactly that subs distance and depth the entire time it was at sea.
These are all lies❤❤😂
This is fantasy.
I guess regional power Russia still claiming to be a superpower -
If I was a Battle ship Captain, I know what I would do with a Russian sub, being way too close. I refuse to say what on this forum.
Low IQ fool you would nothing 😭😭 dig out bunker 😲 in the soil 😜!
