Thanks for the heads up about this app. I was in a fabric store recently, having forgotten at home the piece of paper on which I’d handwritten the calculations for a baby quilt I wanted to make. The clerks were as helpful as possible. I actually made a big mistake in my calxs in the store. With some adjustments, can still use the fabrics I bought and make a quilt the size I originally wanted. This app would have saved me hugely in the store!

I have been using this app for a few years and I love it. I found a Fabric Stash app that is AMAZING !!! It’s an inventory of your fabric stash. Add pictures of fabric, how much you have, manufacture, designer, fabric line. The only draw back is that it doesn’t back up to iCloud therefore not available from phone to tablet, meaning if you have the app on your tablet you need it at the fabric store to match what you are searching for. You are able to email and print all your fabric but who has that much ink 😂. I wrote a review and ask if they would be updating to allow iCloud backup and their response is waiting on apple to make software changes before they do any upgrades. It’s an absolutely amazing app just needs the backup feature.
Stash Star Fabric. I wish someone would sponsor or something to encourage them to continue development. This is an app I would pay good money for!!! Needs iCloud backup then it would be perfect 👌. Please check it out !!
Hmmm, I actually enjoy doing all the math myself - it's part of the process, part of the puzzle to be put together. I'm a scientist, trying to do something artsy, so the math is the part that's familiar!
Thanks for this. Could you please do a tutorial on making a clothes peg/pin bag and another for a quilted hot water bottle cover. I can't seem to find good clear tutorials for either? Thanks.

You are one of my favorite quilting RUclipsrs you have the neatest tips and tricks, the coolest patterns & ideas, the most pleasant voice, everything are about you draws me in. You wouldn't by any chance have any patterns where I glow in the dark fabric will look really sharp? I bought some white fabric that glows in the dark but it glows green and I'm dying to use it but I don't have a pattern where it works or would look good
@@SewVeryEasy the glow in the dark quilt would not necessarily be for a child and I would like it to be a minimum of lap size or bigger and I would like to use the glow in the dark fabric to Showcase itself as well as to accent the other Fabrics. And on the mini quilt name tag yes I would be either embroidering or writing my name across it
When I think of glow in the dark I think eyes! A melon quilt block would be fun. It has clean lines and is a bold quilt block. It has been on my list of things to do. Who makes the glow in the dark fabric? I need to find some:) ...and, I aready have a few ideas for the name tag.
When figuring out borders, when are you entering the size of the final quilt AFTER borders or is it the size of the pieced quilt you're wanting to put a border around?
I found a knitting app that has saved my life! When a pattern tells you to add 40 stitches evenly, you have to figure it out but if you have this App, you can add or subtract stitches evenly in your project. I love it. it's called KnitEvenly.

There are a few people who make glow in the dark fabric but the one I like is Michael Miller and the line is called fairy Frost
