He's your favorite producer's favorite producer and was also the pioneer who invented sampling. He is credited with influencing a number of hip hop icons such as RZA, DJ Premier, Madlib, and Pete Rock. Producer Madlib stated in an interview that Marley was the first producer who inspired him to make beats.
    Vibe magazine wrote that he, "forever changed the sound of hip-hop with his unique beat barrages. He has produced for the Juice Crew, Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, Immortal Technique, LL Cool J, and more.

    Marley's #1 beat is MC Shan, The Bridge, though. I'm just saying. That's one of the most important songs in hip hop history

    The fact he had alot to do with the Eric B & Rakim, PAID IN FULL ALBUM also puts him in the top 5 hip hop producers of all time.

    Without him there wouldn't be a "Golden Age of Hip Hop". He changed the game forever and invented my favourite hip hop subgenre: Boom Bap!

    Marl such a legendary producer, so many LL hits, I wish Marl got more recognition.. that's the draw back of being so successful in the 80s and 90s.. no social media
