here is a rule for you, dont breathe
I don't know why I expected him to memorize how to build the whole thing from scratch to improve his time lol
Literally the highest degree of sportsmanship
Imagine putting this much time and effort into something useful for humanity
Lego really needs to include a list of pieces separate from the regular piece count list that tells you what pieces should be left over
There's usually no surprise when it comes to spare parts if you go bag after bag. They're always the same and 1 unit of each. You could even predict them. It's a bit more complicated when you remove the bags and merge all parts cause you cannot know for sure that it was 1 single unit from each bag.
Guy In in the lego commercials: “pathetic”
How about everyone stops jumping over the moon because of this guys honesty and instead learn something from him and take a page out of his book.
The world would be a lot better if we’d all be like him
no people are jumping over the moon because this dude just gave away his world record due to his own honesty. it takes a certain attitude to do that. that’s why they’re praising him. i wouldn’t do that if i was put in the same situation as him that’s fs lmaooo
@@jarreals but 90% of the comments here praise this guy for doing something that shouldn’t have to be taught. That’s my point.
@@jmentone yeah… it should be taught. but the world isn’t perfect. these days everybody ain’t as nice. so somebody in this time who’s extremely honest is rare. that’s my point. he deserves to be praised because nobody these days is that honest
@@jarreals yep and that’s something to be proud of… not!
@@jmentone we praise people to encourage the same behavior. that’s all there is. you expect everyone to be nice? you’re gonna get buttfucked if you always think like that lmaoo
Can I find a comment talking about anything but his honesty?
World needs people like this guy
I'm curious, the timer doesn't start until after he has opened all of the bags and sorted the parts into various trays. Isn't sorting part of the assembly process? Couldn't you theoretically knoll all of the pieces first based on the pages they appear in the instruction book, to speed assembly (as long as you don't actually snap any together)? I would have thought that for the record the timer should start as soon as you open the box; no sorting or arranging of pieces.
It’s based on how quickly you can build it
@@macropinnas so the timer starts when the first two pieces snap together?
@@bluedinero3055 I’m pretty sure
the same should apply to speedcubers then, but they get time to observe and plan their moves
I had the same question.
"We were on the verge of greatness, we were *this* close!"
What I feel is that he passionately loves his profession. Rather than focusing on the world record and the certificate he was actually trying to do his work with perfection. He was just being honest with himself and he knows that this trait is what made him get the world record. I am pretty sure that many other records are waiting for him in future.
Wow, I now want to buy that falcon and try it myself, a very inspirational honest guy
You won the certificate of honesty.
I think that is worth more than any Fastest Building Lego Set recognition.
