Thanks. Yes that sign in front of platform 4 which included train spotters! alas my archive views have gaps, eg: when making this film I discovered to my dismay that I did not film the Metrolink platforms here in 1992.
Did you know that Manchester Victoria is THE Victoria station, being the first in the country to be named (not surprisingly) after Queen Victoria herself, from Hunt's Bank
"Customers and TRAINS SPOTTERS do not pass this point" haha nice one and by the way you've got a nice huge archive collection 👍🏼
Thanks.

Nice footage.
loved the 504s😁
Thanks :-)
Cracking video, thanks for uploading.
0:54 I love that sign
I went to Victoria on the train yesterday and looked at the M5000 trams and I waved to the drivers
Best thing to happen in Manchester in the last fifty years
Nice to see Victoria in the past before my day I travel to Leeds every month or two never though I would see this station is this state
you might find books with photos showing stations as they used to be
I have some
Congrats on this fine video👍
Thanks :-)
Do you happen to be a Mancunian or from that general area?
London. But I visited Manchester many times to see and film the Metrolink system.
Got anything on Birmingham Snow Hill before they destroyed what was a magnificent station!
Sorry, I am too young for that. If I am correct it closed in 1972, I was not even a teenager at the time.
Thanks.
Another station I quite like to see is the old Liverpool Exchange.
Hardly anything on YT?
Sorry, Liverpool Exchange closed in 1977 and I have no film of it.
wooooaahhhh such a contrast

The original T68s look far nicer than the newer ones.
The rest of europe must have looked on open mouthed at the rubbish trains we had in 1990!!,disgraceful.
Not really, Germany still has stuff from the 70s running
Poland has like 40 year old trams running aswell
Well, most have newer trams but there are still some areas where there are really old ones
