It's insane Hause actually listened to the community and rolled back the negative changes he implemented. However, even though I have returned to 2b2t because of the rollback, I'm still on edge about what Hause could do to the server in the future given his previous attempt. All we can really do is trust him on this, for now.
It's why to this day ive still not logged into 2b2t since the update was implemented.
He only listened because of the insane backlash that he got from the entire community and that affected his income lol. If it had been less I don't doubt it wouldn't have been reverted

It is their server, they can do as they want with it, plus 21TB is pretty huge, nothing wanting to trim that down.
The fact that "hause" thought that the original version of this update was even acceptable for an anarchy server is unbelievable
what probably happened is the hause that ran the server before the update, sold it off and the new hause made the changes.

What was wrong with the update? I found all the changes good, except for the chunk changed as they reset some based and areas but all else was good

A. Chunk changes shouldn't have done anything as it was the chunks that were loaded for like 1s or less
B. Deleting items? Kinda goes against the whole point of an Anarchy Server

I think Hausemaster would benefit from, at least, polling the subreddit about minutia details. Trimming untouched old chucks can sound appealing, but not if you don't ask your own players first...

I'm not a 2b2t player but from what I've heard the official subreddit is basically not used because housemaster bans anyone and everyone for saying anything remotely bad about the server or even saying names of some people.
The subreddit that IS used is one that is made to avoid hausemaster moderating it because they're a shithead and all kinda hate him.
He eventually did. When asking whether or not to rollback he polled on the subreddit and listened

The subreddit doesnt represent 2b2t players, its a vocal minority.
Hausemaster should learn from his mistakes not just once. Seeing him being transparent with the community, especially with the apology he made was refreshing and more promising than how in the previous years he treated the community and dealt with the server itself.

@@ComDenox also he had to pay 15 dollars per chargeback and hundreds of people did chargebacks, so that caused a couple thousand in losses by itself

I'm glad that Hause ended up going back on his decision and that you're still around on both 2b2t and the QSMP alike.

You don't know how long I've waited for another upload from you! This is a great covering of the update to 1.19, though the situation was positive in the end, I don't see myself trusting that experiments like that won't happen in the future, even if everyone in charge of the server holds the same expectations as the player base. Microsoft better not ruin a nice thing!

@mateuszdziewierz2938 There is a modded rp server run by Quackity called the qsmp. The members are charged with caring for and protecting eggs controlled by admins. Each egg only has 2 lives, which they can lose from in-game death or neglect. They are occasionally hunted by OP admin-controlled entities, particularly if they still have 2 lives.
Ramon is an egg with a great mustache known for tinkering with create and finding exploits. The players get really protective of their egg-children.
A particular quirk of the server is a real-time translation mod meant to allow RUclipsrs from around the world to interact with each other. The initial batch matched one English and one Spanish speaker per egg, but they found out that it's really hard to make that work. Fit was basically a single father for a while and Philza has been taking care of 2 eggs for a while now. All of the Brazilian players take care of one egg and all of the French speakers share another.
It's basically the opposite of 2b2t, but fun in a very different way.

I've never played online, but I build epic bases and then quit because the mobs are too annoying and updates hard to keep track of.

I've seen hause do many wild things, even including deleting the original end dimension which I was living in at the time, so him sort of putting it out there that he was deleting your items was just par for the course in my book...
Of course, I don't blame you for not liking it, nobody ever likes the things hause does to us.
He has always "inflicted changes" upon the 2b2t player base.
Having looked at your videos in August, I understood that you _weren't_ (at least predominantly) pleased with the changes - but made it clear that similar situations had occurred long before, and that Hausemaster's behaviour was nothing new. Is this wrong?
not just the item deletion, but like. the cracking down on hacking and duping. It's an anarchy server, hacking and duping are a large part of the appeal and community

@@randomcatname7792No, he’s right. Hause doesn’t care about “history”, the update to 1.19 proved that. He literally pruned many old chunks. He only rolled back because people were leaving.
