hello! i hope you are staying healthy in all this. :) i had a question, but i wanted to preface with an explanation: after the quarantine began in my area, i came across one of your videos explaining the yin and yang method and i was quite taken by the framework and each letter having a geometric logic. i don't really have experience with this sort of thing at all but it very much appealed to me and i wanted to try it out, especially knowing that i was going to be spending plenty of time inside for the next several weeks or months. i bought a fude8 brush pen after having watched part of this video because it seemed more economically feasible for me than gathering everything for pen use right now, and then i bought your manual (probably would have been wiser to make the purchases the other way around, haha). i hope that is understandable; i just wanted to explain why i only have the fude8 and no pen, that it's not out of me not taking this seriously enough or anything.
so right now all i can practice with is my fude8 and a pencil, which is what i've been doing and i've been enjoying it! but now, re-watching this video, it occurs to me to ask: are all the other guidelines that are labeled as being for pens not useful for brush practice and should not be used to practice with a brush? sorry if this is a stupid question, i just hadn't noticed the labels before and figured they could all be used to practice with whichever tool, so i was using the pen guidelines to practice. i'm guessing i should stick only to the brush guidelines, otherwise i will develop bad habits/letterforms with the brush if i keep using the pen guidelines? or is it ok to use either one?

secretxxstars thanks for getting the manual. The pen guidelines can be used with a pencil. See the videos I have posting in Instagram TV on pencil practise. You shouldn’t use the brush on the pen grid because the grid is meant for a smaller tool. It will take too much work. NOW, if you read the book you would know you should do ALL of it with the pencil first so am assuming you didn’t read the book and just decided to jump on the practise. Read the book first. Start with the glossary then from the front. Read it and make notes. Everything will be clear if you do it that way.
@@PAScribe thanks so much for replying and clearing things up! :) I have been practicing with pencil as well like I said, since I did read the manual and I'm really interested in all the confinements and everything, just I would get excited when things started to look "right" in pencil and try it out with the brush to see how it would come out with that, haha. I will keep practicing with pencil, then, and when I've practiced enough and can invest in everything for a pen I will get one now that I see most of the practice after pencil is intended for pens. thanks again for taking the time to reply and being so helpful! :) stay healthy out there!

It is Layout paper. You need need to search for it where you are to work out the cost

Hey there, do you draw downstrokes parallel to the axis of sternum
gangia dordan first of all, i am not drawing the strokes but writing them. You have to think writing if you want to write. The thing to take away from the video is the nib must face the axis of the script and in some cases, for people who can’t get it to work perpendicular to the sternum, it is about getting the nib to follow the axis of the script, along the 55°
