Drag queens are more well-known but drag kings are also a thing, women and others who dress up as male personas. It would be interesting to see some reactions to drag kings, too!
I agree with you. We need more Drag King Representation.
same with g8 more well-known thn Les
Yessss this would be very interesting too!
Who cares?
@@daviusdavis2537 uhh why did you click this video lol
"put it back inside like this-"
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT"
OH MY GOOOOD
The presenter should have told them about tucking lol
But can they sit tho? In that condition.
@@nfspbarrister5681 i mean, yeah but it must be at least a LITTLE uncomfortable, right?
@@fantasmaghoulical ...a little? From my biology class and forensic class, cutting blood flow to those part of man's body is a very bad idea.
@@nfspbarrister5681 it’s definitely uncomfortable for them to sit which is why a lot of queens don’t sit when they tuck. They mostly host clubs and do gigs so they usually don’t sit for long and just stand around most of the time
Just correcting, drag queen is NOT just about dressing up the opposite sex *
Drag is for artistic or entertainment purposes. It is not related to your gender identity or sexual orientation. Cis women can be drag queens (Creme Fatale is my favorite), trans women, cis men, trans men, non-binary and all. The same for drag kings.
I'm glad more people are hearing about drag from Drag Race, but Drag Race is starting to be more inclusive just now (Gottmik was the first trans male on the show last year so they're really late and have a lot to do yet) but at least it's already a step. However, it is good to remember that there are drags outside of RPDR as well, and even if the show is not that inclusive now, if you like drag, they are amazing queens and kings with diverse gender outside the show
YESS!! Thank you for saying this.
Calm down
@@Lexi-dn7ix what do you mean?
I ONE HUNDRED PERCENT AGREE, but I think they were just trying to explain it in the most simplistic (overly-simplistic), basic way as it's just for a transformation-reaction video. Obviously it's not always as the opposite sex, drag can be androgynous, both cis and trans women can do drag etc.
@@markalexander3659 yeah i agree, this way is easier but it is a very outdated and stereotyped way of explaining. But I understand that they are very different cultures (despite having Drag queens there, I understand that most of the population doesn't know the meaning), so i understand your point too
Now we NEED them to try it themselves. Rua has to face his fears lmao
Honestly your worst then strict Asian parents, ew no one wants to forces anyone to do anything creep
@@megansmallwood3409 no one forces anybody to do anything. It's just a joke. Chill out
@@megansmallwood3409 Chill lmao
@@megansmallwood3409 Calm tf down, holy shit.
i wish they would've explained what drag is in more detail/ a bit better, and that it's popular among queer/lgbtqia+ people. it also would've been interesting for them to show drag queen performances/competitions too.
yup crossdressing and drag queens are different
i have a question , can a girl be a drag queen? ... i am always in awe so therefore i want to try it but kinda scared because of the place i live in ( very conservative but not my parents tho)
@@junxzckmultistan8405 technically someone who identifies as female and in drag would be drag king = i.e. dress as male presenting. But it is possible for those who identify as female to be in the style of drag make up too. Depends on where u go and the community you find!
@@junxzckmultistan8405 YES!! EVERYONE CAN BE A DRAG QUEEN/KING ♥
@@junxzckmultistan8405 I know a few drag queens that are women! It's definitely a thing. you should try it out :)
OMG WHEN THEY LEARNED WHAT'S storing hahaha I'M DEAD AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
they are so precious
Wait, but can you really do that??
Doesn't it hurt a lot though 😨
It's great to see Plastique and Bob. It would be cool to have Kimchi or another Korean drag queen explain drag.
“it’s not there” I DIED
I think the girls would be interested in seeing some drag kings, especially the one that said she'd try it lol
That would be a great followup video
Plastic Tiara... one of my favourite people in the world! ❤
3:31 that scene was so funny seeing how speechless they were lol
I hope one day you will show them that this is also done in Korea, maybe you should invite Nana Youngrong Kim, Bambi, Vita Mikju, Serena...
What Bob the Drag Queen did with the Corset is call "Tight Lacing" and yes, it displaces things including your organs, but is not usually done to such an extreme that it cuts off circulation or significantly inhibits breathing. Breathing problems are more of a badly fitted fashion corset thing. There is also a lot of padding and fake boobs involved. Also, many Drag Queens and Kings are actually heterosexual. It was originated by the Black Gay Community and we thank them for creating such an amazing art form that we can all now enjoy and partake in.
There's a common misconception about how tight lacing can move or shift your organs. While it's true that compression around the midsection can put pressure on your soft tissues, this isn't necessarily a cause for concern. Your soft tissues and internal organs are designed to adjust to varying pressures.
I wouldn’t say “many” as far as heterosexual drag queens. We did get to meet one, Maddie Morphosis, on this season of RPDR, who was phenomenal and went home too soon. But Michelle Visage said in all her years associating with the drag community, she’s only know three straight male drag performers, including Maddy. Still, it’s nice to see there are a few, and it would be great to see more!
Well, I wouldn't say the concept of drag as a whole started specifically in the Black Queer community (it is hard to say where that started EXACTLY, as it could predate history for all we know), but the modern-day balls, and a lot of what is associated to Drag Race 100% is, and so is the high-quality level of drag is thanks to the Black Queer community as a whole, not to mention the ability to be out and gay or be a drag queen is thanks to Black Queer queens of yesteryear (think Stonewall).
Please, next time do this reaction "Drag race best lip sync moment". Can't wait for their best reactions 💖💖💖💖
Show them the video of Tandy iman dupree first
trans women can b drag queens, but not all trans women are drag queens ^^
Oily ily 😍
@@user-qn2ey6gk4m lmao ew
I’d love to see some drag kings too! I agree w some folks who say drag has a history that’s p important to the lgbt community- but sometimes just showing people how easily people can pass as any gender look they want is just a fave of mine hohoho
Actually, anyone of any gender can do drag, not only men trying to look like women or women trying to look like men
You should show them proper Bob The Drag queen videos he is a legend who won Drag Race. Also you should have included Kim Chi. She is a legend lol
Kim Chi is one of my all time favorites, she’s absolutely incredible!
Don’t forget miss vanji-
@@oseeea2751 hahaha YES! Iconic
@@oslo15 I really enjoy her dreamy drag
@@NamuBang She’s so incredibly creative, not to mention amazing at makeup, I just sit there like 😳 every time she’s on a YT channel or show I’m watching
I was kinda waiting for plastique, her transitions are so smooth
I love how they were stunned by Plastique Tiara
"It's not there" is my favorite comment 😂😂😂
I hope y'all give them information before watching the TikTok clips and really investigate about it beforehand. Everyone can be a drag queen/king and doesn't necessarily mean you're gay or part of the lgbt+ community. It's a way of expressing and part of art. I appreciate that people are watching more and really like and appreciate this movement, but please search and explain before watching clips.
Ikr
They probably didn't know that some of their reactions can be offensive
They should've had a 3 minute segment explaining about drag before hand
Straight people do drag too - that often doesn't get mentioned.
As additional info, I would like to add something. If a corset is custom-made for a person it doesn't squeeze your organs, rather it is good for your bones and posture. Also, corsets were the equivalent of bras, before they were invented.
I love how into it they get. 🥰❤
"It's not there" LMAOOOO
as a trans person myself, it kinda hurt when one of them said “you gotta be careful” over and over again. Drag is a form of art and expression. Some trans women are drag queens, some cis women are drag queens, some gay men are drag queens, and some straight men are drag queens. I just hoped y’all could’ve given more information on this topic rather than just what seemed like a simple google search. The fact that the person assumed about needing to be careful when in a situation where you’re unknowingly trying to seduce a drag queen or people who simply dress feminine is harmful to the trans and drag community and is transphobic. To assume that about drag queens and people who just dress hyper feminine hurts. I hope y’all can do better and educate yourselves some more /srs
Probably if a trans woman is flirting with a guy and then discover that he's trans, would be harmful for her too, it's a little tricky situtation.
It’s not just harmful but physically dangerous. There’s been many cases of cis men being physically violent towards trans woman because they felt like they were ‘deceived’, which they translated as a threat to the their masculinity and then bad things happened. Many trans woman are killed because of this every year, which is exemplified by that guy’s reaction. I’m not trying to imply he’d do that, but it’s important to try and nip reactions like that in the bud early.
Agreed the "you gotta be careful " comment really wasn't a good look
@@shugo1047 lol bro. Being attracted to someone in drag doesn’t mean you’ve been tricked. To be tricked would imply that they’re doing it on purpose. If they’re feminine ‘enough’ for him to be attracted to them doesn’t mean anything about his sexuality.
@@shugo1047 obviously someone who does drag isn’t going to fucking lie to a person about the fact that they look like that all the time, if they do that’s fucked up on their part. Yet that still doesn’t excuse the fact that what he said was not okay. I’m not disregarding a straight man’s emotions at all, you obviously weren’t reading what i said if that’s what you got out of what i said. I literally said that drag is a form of art that anyone can participate and the fact the only thing he can think of when seeing that is that he might be “tricked” and that he has “to be careful” is what’s wrong. I couldn’t give two shits about their sexuality, it’s about respecting people’s way of life without assuming that people have to accommodate for your comfort because you might be deceived or assume the wrong thing. That’s what fucked up
I love the many aspects that were shown! It'd be nice to see more of their interviews and performances not just tt but it was a lovely video!
these two pairs really brighten up my day, especially minji and rua 🥰
Omg they showed sugar and spice I’m so happy!! BOB the Drag Queen too it’s like an All Stars Cast!!
MJ's reaction at 3:37 was super cute. HAHAHAHA
I love their reactions! So positive and wholesome!
I want to take Minji to a drag performance, I think she’d absolutely love it lol 😂
I went to a pride parade once, and there was this beautiful drag queen whose entire outfit was made out of playing cards
Lmao they GAGGED at plastique. ICON tingz
Plastique leaving everyone speechless!
Drag queens are entertainers. Its not just regular people cross-dressing but I appreciate yall always sharing lgbt+ content on your platform. Just wanted to let yall know
When that boy said " it's not there" lmao it had me on the floor
I’m in love with Rua 😭 he’s so cute and his demeanour is adorable 😭💙

Should show them Draw Queens DANCING in all that padding! Great reaction!
HOW THEY REACTED TO PLASTIQUE'S TUCK IS PRICELESS HAHAHAHHA
3:42 it’s called tucking everyone. I’m not a drag queen, but an ally. It’s an amazing art form that allows one to be expressive and confident.
Korean based drag queens Neon Milk are awesome you should look them up. I think they were in one of Do Hanse (Victon) mv. They are gorgeous!
Those guys are really talented like o my gashh!🤯❤
I love how accepting everyone on this channel is! 🤩
Dressing up in drag is absolutely an art, those make-up looks take hours to complete
I was waiting for Plastique Tiara :D But, they could also show them korean drag queens like Nana or Bambi .

They should react to the To This Day project! It's a really touching video about how bullying really affects kids, my teachers showed it to us all the time
That Plastique Tiara Moment @3:29 tho
Drag is art….love it!
Their reactions to Tiara were by far my fave. I love how non-judgy they all were.
*loud silence*
"....it's...it's not there"
Pffffthahahahahaaha
Ohhh, Bob the Drag Queen! I loved her performance in Ru's Drag Race
Their reactions are great.
“The stockings are ripped”
Miss girl pulled a Shangela💀💀💀💀
I love how they showed Bob!! I was so happy lol
can you please do a new vid where everyone reacts to lip syncs from drag race?
Loved MJ's reaction at 3:39
Also where are Austin and minji from their accents are different
Drag Queens are the most well known but Drag Kings are also a thing. I'd also like to point out you don't have to "switch" genders to do Drag. Women can create fantastic, out of this world female characters and men cam do the same with male characters. Or non binary! It's all about creating a persona and exploring the boundaries of yourself!
Remember, it was drag queens who threw the first bricks at stonewall
"it's not there" 👁️👄👁️💀💀💀💀
Glad Plastique and Bob made it to the video!
Plastique Tiara is the queeeennn
they're all adorable ♥
3:37 I love MJ's reaction😄

6:09 to 6:32 are my fav parts
plastique tiara is still at the top of the game
3:26 blew my mind!
Her explaining "tucking" and them just being like "....storing??? No no" killed me.
