This is probably my favourite route, I like to see all the rolling stock at Glasgow Central. As for the 350, those did run up there breifly in LNWR livery before Transpennine Express got rid of them.
Being able to do a complete end-to-end service is always going to be better than any service that's cut off at a specific station due to the route coverage of the service depicted in-game. It feels wrong (though unavoidable at this point) to play any timetable service that says it ends at a specific terminus yet ends on a specific station that, in a lot of cases, doesn't make sense to end that service at.
Certainly I could rate this highly, it made a word of difference when it was remastered and with the 380 as well. Although by default, the Class 380 and 350 share many of their sounds, which are decent in themselves. With the addition of the Class 390, it has made that even better, although the Class 350 as the Transpennine services is formerly prototypical, but a bit questionable. Enjoyable, and it is something DTG actually put some effort into. I am interested to see how the remastered GWE turns out.
Since the remaster, this route is qute possibly my favourite route in TSW. I love the 380 (one of my favorite trains in the game) and the contrast between the busy Glasgow Central and suburban areas. Yes, the route is short, but it has a true network feel thanks to its different branches and depot moves, and I never get bored on this route. I also love the fact that the route looks so much better than the original since the TOD 4 lighting. I much appreciate the fact that you have now adopted a rating system out of 10; this makes your reviews easier to follow than before for the viewers. Great video as always and look forward to the reviews on Frankfurt to Fulda and the San Bernardino Line.
This route is amazing now. As someone who's used glasgow central irl I can say dovetail have done an amazing job recreating the atmosphere with heavy traffic and the new lighting
@GBRf66715_ TBH I agree with the reviewer and would have preferred it if this layer had not been added. It doesn't look realistic and TPE services don't call regularly at Glasgow so their absence wouldn't have been a huge loss. I'd have much preferred to have 350 layers added to Birmingham New Street on the Cross City Line. Additional 390 layers on both the Cross City and Glossop lines would have been great too!
The return of the best Tsw reviewer. I liked the 380 as it was a new type of loco for TSW plus it was only 17.99 USD. Edit, at 4:29 DC states he does not know what volumetric means. It simply means that the clouds have depth.
14:30 Strangely, I seem to get much smoother and better frames on the updated timetable with more trains and worse on the old route with less trains and even free roam with none.
I think that Cathcart is a great route. The 380 is a nice train as well. As for the 350 layer, you can disable the 350 layer by going to the layers section when selecting a train. It will show a menu to the timetable layers. Selecting the TPE layer will disable the Class 350 layer
i would not say the 314 is challanging at all, its very easy to drive. i don't mind the rail tours as it adds to the route but do agree they need to get rid if the 350 as it just looks out of place. Great Vid.
The pew-pew-pew from 380 is how the DC/AC converters sound on Desiro trains so there shouldn't be such a thing when using overhead AC wires (as there is no conversion) but of course DTG is too cheap to make a special audio for this.
Man i just cant with TSW5 so far, the passengers ALWAYS glitch out through object, it COMPLETELY ruins the immersion at least on passenger services (im mostly a freight player but sometimes dabble in express passenger services) perhaps its my older gen xbox one s i bought in 2017 but it could just be the devs were too lazy and released it that way, if so thats truly unacceptable.
I got every single British DLC every single one and I mean every single British DLC, and I also got TSW 5 too but I don't have the Class 390 or Class 350 layer and I got those EMUs and I play on the PS4

Each "Glasgow" you say is the only time you hear a NZ person speak Scottish 🤣 proper makes me chuckle.
Brilliant vid tho, tempted to snag the 380

one of the best TSW addon reviewers here. Keep it up!🎉❤

LNR 350 is meant to represent the /4 which were rebranded into LNR but was still running TPE Services

@@intercity234 you can turn the layer off if you don't want it.

Nice vid
Cracks me up every time you say Glasgow 😂
I'm hoping for a Scotland bundle to come to steam so I can get all the additional layers for Cathcart on the cheap
14:30 Strangely, I seem to get much smoother and better frames on the updated timetable with more trains and worse on the old route with less trains and even free roam with none.
The Reddish skin would also be great tbh.
One of the best routes. Not the best but maybe in the top five

I didn't know you could disable any layers yourself.
@@DC4260Productions It’s a new feature in TSW 5. I removed the TGV and ICE3M from SEHS since they don't run on that line in real life
The issues with the NPCs are on most routes. You would have thought they would have sorted this out by now.
Another excellent video.

You can turn it off with the layers selector in tsw5
What's great now, you have the option to turn layers off or on as you wish
Muita informação útil. Valeu. Vou adquirir este pacote.
for some reason i get no layers in cathcart circle even when i have the routes needed for them do you know why
Which platform you on? And have you selected cathcart circle 2019 or 24?

I have an xbox series X and they do the same thing 🙄
A shame I can’t play this route since I’m stuck with the training route
How are you stuck?

Probably because you are on ps4
Have you bought the class 380, and are you using the updated timetable?
