Yes, drum solos CAN be boring! But I always try to make mine fun and interesting. With WASP, my solo had a race car theme. Wednesday suggested I do one with horror movies. Great idea!! I had a blast picking audio clips from some of my favorite horror flicks. See how many you recognize!! My solo was in between "Decompose" and "Keep Watching the Skies".
