Hi, I can't seem to get my ps4 controller to work with the PS5 mate, all my cords were tested and are working, everything is plugged as it should
I got up to the part where you go to the down menu in "accessories" it changes from Dualsense Wireless controller" to just "controller" but after that, I plug my ps4 controller into the PS5 mate and it just won't connect, I don't know why cause the little battery icon on accessories is charging so clearly the ps5 mate and PS4 controller are connected to each other but when I push the PS button the blue light just blink and then fade out
I tried with a switch pro controller too but it didn't work either, I really don't know why, all the other steps before that were working....
In regards to the extra power needed to the p5mate, will the front charge ports provide enough power to help with it?
If not what USB PSU voltage is recommended to provide enough power?
Yes, you can use another ps5 USB for the extra power
So after the first connection can you turn the bluetooth back on for head sets etc etc? After its back on will it mess up hitting the Ps button on the controller attached to the P5mate?
You should be able to turn it back on, as long as you removed all prior bkuetooth devices so the ds doeanst accidentally connect

I got this last week and it’s been working perfectly fine for me not a single problem. As simple as plug and play.
What settings do you have for the Cronus ? Does ps4 specialty need to be off or on and what about the emulator protocol ? I must be doing something wrong

Everything works the cords and p5 mate and zen but when I try to hit L2+options the zen won’t let me change the values while playing do you think I forgot something or am I missing something?

UPDATE: Got it to work. Used the Zen Bypass method to connect Zen to PS5. Connected Besaviour to left side Zen port, Strikepack to front left port and mouse to front right port.
I have a problem I'm experiencing in my setup, and since you seem to be the only person who has all the same hardware, I thought I'd see if you could test it for me. I have a somewhat unique setup (I think) that works great as it is but I want to swap a part of it out with the Strikepack Horizon Vista. I'm running a hybrid setup of a mouse and a PS4 controller w/Strikepack into a Zen, and then through the Besaviour into my PS5. It allows me to use the controller (in my left hand) for movement and the mouse (in my right) for aiming. Through the Zen, I have mapped most of the buttons from the right side of the controller onto the multi-button mouse i'm using.
I recently bought the Strikepack Horizon Vista and when I connect it to my PS5 controller and connect it to the Zen, the Zen gives me the green light like it's connected, but when I turn on the PS5 controller (w/SPHV) it just flashes blue around the touchpad a few times and then shuts off like it's not connecting to the PS5. If I don't use the Zen, and connect it directly to my Besaviour, it works fine. I basically need the Zen as a way to also use the mouse.
I simply want to use the mouse and controller together and use the extra buttons on the left side of the Strikepack for jump and crouch (not really interested in the cheats and stuff). Like I said, the PS4 Strikepack controller works great in this setup, but it only has one paddle per side.
Can you get the Strikepack Horizon Vista to connect to your PS5 through the Zen and Besaviour? If it doesn't, would you mind seeing if the P5 Mate would work with the Zen AND Strikepack together?

If I have my Cronus connected to a p5mate, am I able to use my dual sense edge in port A1? When I use it on port A2 without the p5mate, I feel significant input delay.
I don't notice any delay when testing using Bluetooth connection to zen
Great Vid, Ps5 mate works great for me after I followed steps, it’s actually pretty cool how simple the design is and how it works with any controller and assessory, but I do notice a little bit of input lag on some of the games I play, any suggestions on how to fix that?
Make sure you use shortest cable possible for connections

Do you have links to the specific usb a to a cord and usb a to usb c you use that works and is reliable? I’ve only been using dualsense edge usb a to c and that one is amazing cause it had the lock method.
The one ime using came with my besavior controller.

@@GearsAndTech I watched the entire video no skips and started testing each cord the one I was using to connect my 3rd party device was faulty. so I threw it away and used a different one and bam works like a charm no problems.
I just dont get it Mines was working fine for the first two days and now i cant get it to do anything i just broght new wires and all Made sure all my Settings the same and try all ports on ps5 i get the samething just a purple light comes on on my controllers and thats it cant do anything at all

Man I remember having issues setting up the first Beloader only to find out it was the hub I bought. I switched it with an old hub and now it works through LAN but that was back then. This video showed me pretty much what I would’ve done as well 😂

I tried every combination of setup with different controllers, different settings on the zen, and all 3 usbs ports on the ps5. Nothing worked. Then I did the simplest thing and it worked like a charm. I used a different cable. I was using the usb A to mini usb cable that came with the zen and had no luck. As soon as I changed that cable it connected perfectly

I use an official Sony USB Bluetooth dongle connected to the p5mate. When synced with a ds4, it actually has full function (including gyro and touchpad swipes and all clicks). Strangely I can't get any controller working wired with it (ds4 or series x controller). The missing link might be the need to disable Bluetooth entirely as you're suggesting... Which would be strange, you'd think these controllers after being unpaired would be force to work in cabled mode. Same controller cable works fine connecting the ds4 to the ps5 directly

I need help. The cables are tested and working. The P5MATE works with my original DualSense but won't work with any pro PS4 controller. The PS4 controllers work without the P4MATE, but do not work with it. What am I missing? How to fix it?

@@GearsAndTech so here is the update. I played around a little bit. The Original Dualshock for PS4 works on the adapter. The officially licensed Nacon Pro Revolution 2 does work only on PC more. On the PS4 mode it just won't do anything. The HORI TAC G1 (which was the only reason I bought the P5MATE) doesn't work yet on PS4 mode or on PS3 mode. Also an officially licenced controller. It does not have a PC mode. Is there any work around to connect? I have a keyboard and mouse adapter for PS4, Original PS4 controller, the 2 licenced PS4 controllers and 2 DualSense controllers. Do you have any idea how to connect the HORI TAC G1 to play PS5 games?
I have a ps5 dualsense edge which port on the Cronus zen should I connect it to? And why do I sometimes have to restart cronus zen? Am I doing something wrong?

Can the strike pack fit on my dual sense edge if i get rid of the back buttons, and if not, can it still work even tho it does not fit and I have the chord plugged in?
It won't physically fit, but there is a chance it'll work if you use a USB c male to female cord to plug it into the controller

Use the p5mate to play with a series controller. However, I don't know which keys you have to press to simulate the touchpad. Does anyone know how or if this is even possible?

When did you record this video before posting it because I think it’s patched now it simply won’t work once you connect it to the zen but works if you connect it directly to a controller

Strike pack app connects with bkuetooth from the controller to phone

It’s glitched for some reason. Mine does too on the Edge controller. The L2 is connected to the share button for some reason

The light stays on, but everything still works the same. Does the P5Mate need an update? I still get a lot of recoil when firing my guns.

I was trying a hundred different cables and controllers but for some reason only the ps5 controller worked via passthrough with the Ps5 mate. As a last ditch effort, I plugged in my old MAYFLASH Magic NS into the Ps5 mate and now it works with most of the controllers that I was testing it on.

Bluetooth dongle works. EJGAME PS-4 Wireless adapter. But no rumble and touchpad.

I use P5mate with wireless adapter Bluetooth like 8bitdo, mayflash, brook etc. With the extra power cable. It is wondetful!!!
Weird, I tried those and they didn't work
Tried it way to much lag even though it does connected but the Cronus zen does have menu function but it works strange not like it used to be working back when it worked right … p5mate getting returned Cronus zen is pretty much dead at this point still doesn’t function completely right with this device just being honest you will see for yourself if you get this . Yeah I can connect the Xbox controller and all that to the ps5 with this device, which is awesome. But the lag I can feel no thanks … when I’m not using this device it feels so much snappier my controller no
Lag feel I dropped 40-50 kills without any of this . I’ll just keep playing like I normally do. Just my 2 cents worth good luck with this device everyone if you get it. You notice Cronus max isn’t making any new videos because it’s dead ☠️ I don’t like the no vibration either when shooting but the lag is ugly it’s awful
No way cronus walks away from their bread and butter.

Yes but the difference is you have to do all this button pressing and all that every single time you turn off your ps5. Save yourself the time and pain and just get the P5 Mate. Saves you so much time and you don’t have to worry about anything.

Does it work with the ps4 fps dominator strike pack?
Yes
If there is one criticism it’s that the reply needs a bit more context…….I received my p5mate and it does work with the fps dominator strike pack for the ps4!! However you will need to replace the original (micro usb) cable that comes with the strike pack because of the length of the cable being 10 metres long( as you have stated in the video) the longer the cable the less likely it will work.
