    Hello Don,
My condolences on the passing of your neighbor.
After watching the video, I immediately repeated it. What a great production A to Z! The castle grounds, gardens, and surrounding areas along the river Nore are just gorgeous. The Blackbird whose melodic serenade has now been heard thousands of miles away, and those beautiful Bluebells…and you practically had the place to yourself. My sister and I visited this unique town 10+ years ago and my favorite shop was called “Yesterday’s.” I believe it is also the birthplace of actor Richard Harris.
    I eagerly await part two.👍☘️😊

    👋Hi Don,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet neighbour.
    May she rest in peace.
I agree with your heartfelt words.
IMPO, I think that it's funny when someone we know, like, care about or love in any way, suddenly passes & leaves this physical earthly realm. It's as though they've just suddenly disappeared before our eyes & we are left with many questions, but no answers. It can certainly be a very personally painful, thought provoking & reflective time in our lives.
Although it's a very sad time for you, I think you did a good job here & I found your video was wonderful from start to finish, minus the sad part, regarding your dear neighbours passing.
On a personal note, I have to say, I think you're a very deep felt, thoughtful, humane person & you appear to be very sensitive to the human condition.
I won't get into the personals here, but in a funny way, your video has really helped me in various ways.
I always watch your videos whenever I'm free/able & I always enjoy them.
Here's wishing you well & I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

I agree with you, in that walks amid nature are the way to go for sure.
I should also add, that i think Kilkenny Castle is just beautiful both inside & out. (From all images I've seen.)
The grounds are just gorgeous, specifically when all the roses & flowers are in full bloom. My neighbour visited many moons ago & she shared many images with me & I recall one specific shot, which I found so marvellous, stunning & hauntingly beautiful.
The sky was full of dark grey clouds, that appeared very threatening & low to the ground (an obvious illusion) & it appeared it was due to rain.
Underneath the dark sky above, were people strolling around the castle grounds, people sitting down on numerous benches, people just enjoying their time there, seemingly oblivious to the sky/clouds above.
In the foreground (with the dark grey castle imposing in the background) appeared a myriad of roses in full bloom, in many shades but specifically, peach & orange shades, then pink, white, red & yellow rose varieties.
That image alone, made me want to visit Kilkenny Castle so much & to date, I've never visited, so I must make sure to visit real soon.
Once again Don, Thanks for sharing such wonderful & joyful videos with we viewers.
I really appreciate you bringing much of Ireland to us, as many out there, cannot always get out & about.
I hope your viewer numbers grow rapidly, as you're very deserving of more you tube attention!

      @@donstravelsandrants. Oh hahahaha
Don, my name is Caitlin & I live with my family in Tasmania, Australia.
We're in the midst of Winter @ present, so it's very chilly most days here.
Tasmania, like Ireland, is a beautiful Island & is always a few degrees cooler than the Australian mainland, as it's farther South, sandwiched between Australia's mainland & Antarctica.
It's a funny thing Don, because most people who've never visited Australia, are of the belief that it's just a dry, dusty & very hot country. It can certainly be very hot in Summer, but sometimes our Summer's are coolish too (pertaining to where one resides) & outside of Summer, well it can be quite cold & windy, especially along the coastal regions.
Just like Ireland, we're surrounded by water too & most Australian's live along the many coastal regions & not so many inland, as it's not so habitable & much of that space has no direct water source, electricity, or even fertile arable farming land etc;.
I'm laughing now, because it's just occurred to me, that I'm on my way to writing that mini book/essay! lol

Nice to see u in one of my fav places in Ireland. Agree about where u ate being a tourist trap. Clonmel is cheaper to eat out as it's less touristy despite being famous for a certain well known cider🙂. Sorry to hear about your neighbour.
