So many towns and villages are situated near picturesque rivers with arched stone bridges. The charming little church and old stone buildings and walls. Thanks for this, Don. Bunclody is a lovely town. My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife visited Bunclody in May 2023. We are from Ottawa, Canada and vacationed in Wexford for the last two weeks of May with a visit to Bunclody being the only absolute must do point of the entire vacation. Bunclody was the birthplace of my great, great, great grandfather who came to Canada in the very early 1800s at the age of eight. It was wonderful to be in the same place where my ancestor spent the first few years of his childhood. Many cousins (many generations removed) still reside in the area. Slianté!

Having family in Rural Ireland and having lived in Stoneybatter for 3 years before I moved to Manchester 23 years ago in 2002, my last visit home to Ireland was in October 2022 and I’ve been horrified by what they have done to Dublin, especially post-Covid - the character of the City Centre in particular has been tragically ruined, especially since they are driving the dealers out of Moore St and with the tragic closure of Clery’s - they are trying to destroy and erase our Irish history, heritage and culture and it’s totally disgraceful - Dublin Busaras Coach station is in a terrible condition and there is simply no excuse - all I felt when I passed through Dublin was a deep sense of sadness at what we are losing of our heritage, our history and culture and having it replaced with tacky and cheesy “Irish-themed” stores that openly mock and ridicule our history, heritage and culture, buying into tired old anti-Irish stereotypes that I’m so tired of seeing and hearing and frankly, are deeply insulting and offensive to myself as an Irish patriot

“Bad manners and all that crap.”😂😂 The ice cream there is just out of this world…I was practically drooling 😅. Your ears (smallest bodily organ) are sensitive to the wind pressure. Their internal delicate tiny structures are intimately connected to our balance and equilibrium. Anyway, another great adventure…the ever present photogenic sheep and cute lambs, forever views, Tyndall brilliant blue sky and magnificent cloud formations. Always love your photos at the end. 👍☘️💚

It looks a little like many UK towns, which surprises me as I've been looking at Galway and Kilarney on here and they are very different. I was thinking of retiring over there from Manchester as my mother was Irish, but although I love the look of some of the towns and countryside over on the West, I worry about the weather! I wonder how Wexford countryside compares?

I got off the train at bagnalstown by accident thinking it was Kilkenny 😅 when I was over on holiday last year. Went to the railway tavern while I waited for the next train. Lovely town

If you had gone to the first floor, to Magic street food, you could have had the same meal for less than 100 baht

my grandfather was born in tullamore sometime in the 1880's. he came over to the US on a boat from county mayo. his name was anthony coyne he lived to be 99 years old & died in cleveland ohio. he was married to mamie coyne. her maiden name was irwin. they were the parents of my favorite person of all time, my mom.

He has done more in one term than many have accomplished in two terms while being obstructed at every turn! I know how you feel about the other guy, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this! His patriotism, selflessness, and courage are in stark contrast to the other guy who is in it for HIMSELF ONLY! K. Harris is eminently qualified and will make a great president but it will be a close race. The next few months will be a nail biter! Tension is high! I understand if you don’t want to respond to this.

An idyllic, authentic, Irish village! Many other places have become generic, glitzy tourist areas…not my cup of tea! The arched stone bridge, the beautiful river Barrow, majestic swans, and the famous Mr Tyndall. In all your travels Don, I’ll bet nothing comes close to this.☘️💚
