Let's also show some concern for all the Liverpool fans, most of whom had travelled up early from London, Surrey and Hampshire to watch their local, childhood team play.
To be honest it was the right call to call the game off and yes thoughts go to those supporters that made a long journey hope the club helps in some way
Two reasons why it was called off slates flying around Goodison Road , Bullens and Galaxy’s street and secondly there is an insurance policy that they claim off for postponement but it only actively comes into affect 4 or 5 hours before kick off example being Crystal Palace at home a number of years ago
Bruno Guimaraes was signed in January and didn't start a game until mid March. In the time where he wasn't staying, Newcastle won 6 and drew 1 of 7 games with a midfield of Shelvey, Joelinton and Willock who were all at the club pre takeover. More Howe's influence than Guimaraes
If a game was played in Manchester what 30 miles away, why couldn't the game have been delayed and played a few hours later? Or even the next day. Me thinks they didn't want Liverpool to have to deal with windy/sloppy conditions because that could be an equalizer for us. EDIT, I guess our stadium is much more at risk for things falling or coming apart during high winds, and Man U has a new more stable stadium. In that case I understand.
@@MrRondonmon who is "they"? Liverpool City Council, Merseyside Police and Everton football club themselves? The Premier League didn't postpone the game, it was the two clubs mutually agreeing based on feedback from the advisory Council. Everton would be equally impacted as Liverpool by severe weather so how is that an equaliser?
@@MichaelH3948 THEY IS WHOEVER THEY IS.....Probably not wanting to play on Sunday in deference to the Champions League. I think deference should be given to P.L. games.

@@MrRondonmon So Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council didn't want Liverpool's tactical game plan to be compromised by the weather? 😂
I reckon we beat Liverpool Saturday.
