The most realistic path guide. Other creators will tell you seek X/y skills but the field is vast. .. And it’s imperative to acquire peculiar skills related to their specific roles
Really helpful. We also see much perspectives in ML engineering. In our last video our colleague who is a Machine Learning Engineer explained his job through an example of the latest AI project he completed at Jelvix. He even shared his work schedule
Always it's a pleasure listen to you Smitha. My favorite moment was when you shared the job offer and tells us the main skills to achieve the role's requirements.
Imagine an ML engineer with only python and ML skills that has to productionise a model that calculates data on real-time or low latency data. Python it’s not going to cut it. I’d add a 6th step Be realistic and have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer. This video makes it sound so easy.

The fastest way to become a machine learning engineer is to combine focused learning with practical experience. Start with foundational courses on platforms like Coursera or edX, such as Andrew Ng’s Machine Learning course. Simultaneously, work on real-world projects and Kaggle competitions to build a strong portfolio. Networking with professionals and applying for internships will also accelerate your journey into the field.
Is your LinkedIn up to date? I was curious about your Machine learning work experience and didn’t see any ML experience at any actual companies on your LI profile.
Good point! I have also checked it and could not find any useful industry experience as a ML engineer. Given the fact that she also only makes advertisements on crypto stuff (of which I assume to be at least 50 % scams) and also previously was founder of some shady metaverse/crypto company, which also does not have any other LindedIn employees, makes me really wonder whether she is genuine about her ML engineering experience.
your video is so helpful I want to know how a college student can learn ml while I just completed 1st course of machine learning from Coursera but what are the things that a university student should do
Wow thanks for this video! It was helpful. Please, can you give us a list of website that lists ML job postings? I'm also looking forward to the video on ML resume building.
Hi, Im a 17-year-old student super interested in ML. I have 2 certifications in python, and just did a passion project using sklearn regression models, with a huge dataset from the European Space Agency. I have created a neural network using PyTorch, and did a computer vision project for school. I also completed the Microsoft Azure AI engineer course on the azure cloud platform, and I work with Microsoft Access Databases and SQL in school. The only problem I'm having is, I don't know where to put my next efforts into more. Do I start projects regarding SQL and Data pipelines?Or do I start building more ML models, and hyper tune them using kernels? Or do I start learning a new ML library? Also, I know that ML jobs require a lot of experience, so have I started too late?
Dang I wish it was this easy I feel like I've done everything videos tell me to do or for the most part I've already done all of this on my own with no success job market sucks. I've been self studying and learning from school for 4 years now and know I could work a lot of ml roles but there just aren't any entry level positions even if I'm past entry level.
Do you happen to know of any hiring managers who look at projects? I have heard others say they only care about professional experience, and won't even click a github link. I'm wondering what companies look at projects. Eg I know FANG do not look at projects.
Keep in mind that there is no such thing as an "entry level" ML engineer. You need massive ML experience for any ML role, nobody is trusting you with their data otherwise. Refer to "the data janitor" for more.
Insightful video! Thank you! I would be interested in seeing how to build. a really good ML Engineering resume (especially since I am just getting started but want to make the career transition from a non-tech background)
Hello Smitha I'm preparing for Machine Learning Engineer role. To clear the interview apart from Machine learning Algorithm, deep learning and NLP. which Will help me data enginner or DevOps tools??
Hey Smitha, im 14 years and actually im learning Python on a Udemy course and Algebra on Udemy course too, for one day, be ready for learn Artificial Intelligence, i want to study artificial intelligence engenieering on University. I have more questions to you, i would be so exciting if u could answer me and tell me your opinion and tips for me... if u have any social media to talk there... just tell me too THX SMITHAA :)))
You have to build your own blog with projects. Next you attach link to your resume. You need about 10 projects. If you want to be machine learning engineer I am afraid it is rather difficult without solid background in maths, but you can try as data scientist or in anal.
Here's my situation, I come from a low level dev background, mainly in C. So, do I create my own libraries based on knowledge of the low level math, or do I include them using python. I don't have the python background.
He'll ma'am I'm Tabish ,I am pursuing diploma in chemical engineering from Delhi skill and entrepreneurship University in 2025. I want to learn Machine learning mastery ( Tutorial) . I saw your RUclips channel, I hope I understand, please help me a little more.🙂
Hi My name is Tarani I just passed out of 12th std with 90%. I really want to join artificial intelligence and machine learning course.I want to pursue machine learning. But my parents believe that this is not apt for girls. They think it is not only computer science based and it involves building and designing machines like mechanics.Since this is not very popular here even I am confuse.I would like to know if machine learning really involves mechanics and designing and building machine and physics or if it is only computer and math based.Should i take machine learning or data science.Plzzz help me mam
This is a clickbait! Stop spoiling people’s hopes. There is very less chance you could get an interview from recruiters if you already don’t have any related experience.
Top 5 machine learning projects to showcase in resume. May be this can be a next video?

This was helpful. Especially the part about going in-depth on specific ml projects instead of doing a wide variety of projects.
My way:
step 1. get degree in data science
step 2. become machine learning engineer first job.
I would also add. Remember to study for technical interviews!
Kindly Smitha mention the Projects which are helping for parctice the Machine Learning Engineer 😊
Satoshi island🚀 im ready for OKX

CAN YOU MAKE FULL COURSE ON MACHINE LEANING
I DON'T HAVE IT BACKGROUND .I GOT INTERESTED BY LISTENING YOUR VIDEOS
To become a machine learning, before, I need to be a backend developer? I’ll appreciate if you give me that answer.
I love your Channel
Thanks Smitha, I always look forward to your contents very very helpful
Is it possible to get into maching learning with only a bachelor degree?
Yes its possible. develop the required skills, be on top of it and no one cares about your degree

The main problem I have is I’m not even getting the chance of interview. Do keywords matter in the resume?

Hi madam ☺️
Hey! Why you delete your 100days ML playlist?🧐
It hasn’t been deleted, just paused. You can still watch the existing videos. :)
@@SmithaKolan that was awesome playlist...
If possible please continue that.. Thankyou ☺️
You aren't even a ML Engineer though
This is a clickbait! Stop spoiling people’s hopes. There is very less chance you could get an interview from recruiters if you already don’t have any related experience.
And This Comment is off point! Cos I didn't see anywhere she said that in the video.
Thank you!
