I have to say, I like it. It's much more like how Logan used to be before all the power creep. He took 3 months to heal from someone running him through with a sword back in the day, and that is more interesting to me for him as a character; his healing factor will keep him alive and let him bounce back 60 times faster than a normal human, but he doesn't instantly regenerate from any wound.

Damn. Stryfe! Have not seen that killer since the ... X-Cutioners song when I stopped collecting comics in the early 90s. Huh. Well ... At least the label "X-Cutioner" makes ... no sense ... As Deadpool was not created until after that comic crossover happened. Retcon!
Stryfe popped up just prior to The Fall of The X-Men had some crazy plan about using babies born on Krakoa but the person dealing with him was the "teenage" Cable who had no experience with Stryfe this lead to the decision to resurrect Cable's future self who Young Cable had murdered because Young Cable saw his future self as a failure. Old man Cable & Young Cable come to the decision that Young Cable needs to go back to his own time so Young Cable can become the person we know today. This was Marvel's excuse for getting rid of Young Cable who was created for a story line that was abandoned after Hickman took over the X-Men that story was supposed to be about a mentally rehabilitated Scott Summers (had killed Charles in AvX, let Emma mind f--k him, and thought Magneto was right) & Wolverine reforming The X-Men
