@@04ahrenadhikary9g4 the hermits, especially grian, have mentioned multiple times that a lot of hermitcraft is scripted, especially things like the civil war in (season 6?). Last time I heard it mentioned was when grian was saying that it was refreshing having the chaos of the life series where everything is just organic and no interactions are planned past the organisation of everyone being on at the same time

It's amazing that Scar still hasn't realized that he doesn't actually have to do anything that the permit form asks, its just asking if he has done it. You can say no.

It costs 7 diamonds to craft 3 of those Velocite rockets. So 63 costs 147 diamonds just to craft. Not even including the gunpowder and paper and dye. Cub lost so much money in that deal.

To be fair. Cub did blow up Scar and all his stuff in the beginning of the season.
@@madiaw5553 Cub said he's going to give Scar more discount for the same deal in the future meaning next time Scar gets to pay even less. Cub's doing it to spread firework in the server but that's still a lot of diamonds he's losing.
They don’t really do it for the diamonds, the diamonds just kind of give them an excuse to do it giving them more content.

I suppose the whole thing is for the content in general, but I like that Scar treats the document like a To-Do Checklist and not just a yes or no survey. Unless *I'm* missing something, neither the book nor Grian said that he needs to DO all of those things, he just needed to answer them to the best of his knowledge. 🤷🏽♂

Grian's insane forms are certainly a form of red tape. The permit office operating hours could possibly be considered red tape.

So if you didn’t know, the velocité fireworks have diamonds in the recipe. That is why they were so expensive. He didnt just make them expensive. They legitimately did cost 2 diamonds per firework.
In my heart I want to believe that he knows this, but considering that Scar forgot he can look up the crossbow recipe in-game in this very episode, my hopes aren't high.

Yeah, those are 7 break fireworks, and each of that type of break uses a diamond in the recipe. Then to those 7 breaks you add a gunpowder and a paper to get...3 rockets. So it's actually 2.33 diamonds (7 divided by 3) per firework.
When Cub said he was losing money on the deal, that wasn't salesmanship. Those 64 rockets cost him 154 diamonds to make. He literally spent more to make that single stack than Scar paid for the whole order.

Scar, to get back at grian for putting u on hold, u should make a custom disc of lots of scars talking over each other complaining about the permit office, the put them EVERYWHERE grian goes eg base, permit office etc and have them loop over and over
Grian's aggravating way of running the permit office is genius. If it just did what it needed it'd be boring, might as well be done behind the scenes. By leaning into it he's made it a minigame!

honestly my favorite part of this video has to be how it just keeps switching between the timelapse of ore mountain to more hermit interactions, like just a thing that slowly comes together in the background and then when it’s all done it’s just absolutely incredible. all of the hermit permit challenges were also just hilarious to see!

With the rapid fire trick, scar could shoot 3 rockets a second, maybe faster with better timing. If one rocket costs 2 diamonds, firing will cost him 360 diamonds per minute. If one Minecraft diamond is equivalent to 64 cubic meters of sand, and sand costs $212 per cubic meter, his crossbow turret costs $4800000 per minute to fire. With multishot, this triples up to $14400000 per minute to fire. Scar beats out the most expensive real gun at $2 million a minute seven times over

Sometimes it’s hard to remember what scar is dealing with in real life because of his enthusiasm. It’s hard to believe someone dealing with such difficulty can be so positive and loving All the time. I only mention this to emphasize scar and his greatness. It takes an amazing person to suffer what he has suffered and still does yet choose to be a positive and amazing person.
