Thanks Shelley, it is already grown over and i just trimmed it back 2 weeks ago, its a very healthy tank. It may just be that i have so much plants in it that makes it look larger. You are not the first person to say that though.

Yeah it is a amazing tank man and i have been extremely lucky with it as well. No major blooms or anything still dont think i even wiped the glass since i went through the diatom stage in the first month. It seems to have a perfect balance. Thanks for watching Darius.
I have kind of a random question. With your Hydor and Eheim filters, when looking at the side of the clear basket, do you see a water line? Is the water line supposed to be right up to the seal(s) or is the water line visible by one of the top baskets? If that makes sense? On my Hydor and Eheim, the water doesn't go all the way up the sides, there seems to be a pocket of air.
+AmnScottNN Hey man I wondered that myself for a while but no they they don't usually fill right up to the seals. You can shake or tip the filter while running to get some of the air out but you won't get it all.. Your filter should just expel the excess air on its own over time.
Makes sense and thanks for the quick reply. Both my Hydors (which are pretty new) have a water line that sits right above the last basket, a few inches under the seal, and same with the Eheim. Good to know it's normal!
