Recently i won a aquarium auction from the Aquascaperoom.ca Every month on their facebook group they hold an plant auction for their followers. During the last auction i won a great set of 4 cups of Cryptcoryne. We won Cryptcoryne Undulata, Cryptcoryne Red Wendtii,Cryptcoryne Green Wendtii, Cryptcoryne Lutea.
After we planted the crypts we move on to some starugen Repens, and redesign the front of the tank. Overall i think it looks really nice and will grow to fill out nicely

AQUA NUT you are right my friend they would have a field day !! Most definitely a new set up what size you recommend to start not to crazy low tech...so I can keep some nicely behaved fish!!! Thank u have a great one my friend
I would start with a 20 gallon, start small and see how you like it. Maybe even turn it into a breeding tank for live feeders. then you always have a supply of live foods. guppies mollies all those are super fast breeders.
Tanks looking great ! I love T5 or T8 for real good growth and LED for display purposes
Thanks for watching buddy. I like my leds for filming but i did notice better results from t5s too. My Buce is purple in a low tech. I did not see results like that while i had leds on there even with a higher par. Spectrum seems to mean everything and these Giesemann bulbs are steller.
I like the fact that you are using t5, t8, or t12 bulbs which are by far the best for plant growth although LEDs are cool and get the job done.
I am pretty happy with my t5s, yeah they might use a bit more power than some leds but i like the light that comes off of them. Thanks for watching man
Any updates on this tank, and any footage of the green terror you have in there?
Hi Steven unfortunately that tank is in the process of getting shut down. I noticed that the wood is breaking down way faster than expected and needs to come out.. Even worse news is we lost a few fish suddenly and my terror was one of them.. We may rescape the tanks designed for smaller species of fish but we are unsure at this point. as it will cost a good chunk of money to replace that wood.

Hey man hows it going. I am actually from up north about 5 hours away from Toronto. You do have some great options for plants if you are down south. I am still learning how to aquascape myself. I would not call myself a master 😆 i would look up George Farmer or Dennis Wong those guys are the real grand masters and the demonstrate how they setup scape from scratch.
He lives in canada though so he is looking for a canadian company. You cant get plants across the border without it costing a fortune.
Just wondering how that big Hydor is holding up. Is it still operating and do you still like it?
Oh yeah man that Hydor runs like a champ. I am very happy with it. I have a few others as well and they have never let me down.
Just checking in on this. How's it going with the cichlid in the scape. And I did get a Hydor 600 for my 75g build.
Hey Steve, it has its challenges but overall i think it turned out pretty good. It has been a lot of work though re planting, especially till the plants were well rooted. How do you like the Hydor, it has some serious flow eh ?
I have not hooked it up yet. I'm finishing the stand tomorrow then I'll start hooking everything up this coming week. I ordered one of the Hydor inline heaters for this so I'm hoping it comes soon also.
Oh really, i was going to do the same thing but the hydor in line heaters only worked with the hydor 350 due to the hose diameter. The 600 uses larger hoses that wont accommodate the inline heater. . Maybe they came out with a larger one now but i would double check that to be sure.
Does your acara do any damage to plants?
She is pretty good for not eating the plants but digging holes not so much. She is a andinoacara Rivulatus
